New Jersey Senator Bob Menendez (Democrat) has been indicted on corruption charges.

Menendez is accused of receiving services and bribes from a Florida doctor in exchange for working on behalf of the doctor to extract a favorable ruling by the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare on the Florida doctor's medicare billing dispute.

The FBI is also investigating whether Menendez used his office to aid the Florida doctor's business interests in the Dominican Republic.

Earlier this week Ted Cruz (R) said the corruption investigation was politically motivated by the WH because of Menendez's position on WH's Iran policy.

Good riddance. But he's going to stick around until convicted which is a shame as he's ranking member of Senate Foreign Relations Committee. I wonder if Christie will name himself as interim Senator once Menendez is convicted and resigns.

This has been being investigated for years now, and came out before his last re-election campaign as well. Funny thing is that if he wasn't indicted the same people would claim Obama was protecting Dem Senator from being convicted.

To be honest it is possible. A lot of things are possible

It's not that crazy of a theory. Obama is not exactly a beacon of what a moral man is and by definition neither is any president or truly great leader or person of power (in history). Those who sit behind true change are masters in the dark arts!

With that said Obama's actions and foreign policy is clearly better, more cautious and pro American than the traitorous GOP which seeks to cater solely to the rich and to Israel!
