Seemingly "weakest" one punch KO in UFC history?

Agreed, and am a huge Lawler fan. Very bizarre sequence. Nick Diaz is not known for his power, and Robbie has historically had a great chin.
maybe Robbie was concussed in training before the fight? people have said that about the Anthony Joshua-Ruiz first fight, and wasn't Miletich gym known for hard sparring?

Bob Sapp is not suspicious at all. The dude has openly admitted he takes dives lol.

Yeah he's got good boxing fundamentals though. A lot better than most. He used his height and reach well to set up that stiff right cross
True, Diaz was always very technical with his boxing/punching as far as MMA went. Even still, he was a volume guy on most nights and rarely flatlined somebody with a punch like that - least of all a granite chin monster like Robbie.

Didn't Rich Franklin also do this with a broken arm from a kick Chuck had thrown?
It was his left arm that Chuck wrecked earlier with a kick. Still impressive to be nursing a broken arm and KO somebody with the other.

For sure. It's a crazy knockout but Diaz has like 15 tkos, shit he might have more than Robbie. It's not uncommon for his opponents to drop from punches this one just looks funny

It's a good thing this thread specifies the UFC or I'd have to throw Fedor/Bader into the mix.........and I don't want to relive those tears again.

I could never get this one.
In fact a lot of Johnnys KO's seemed to come form arm punches. It's like he rubbed cyanide on his gloves or something.

I put weakest in quotations because I mean not very much force appeared to be put into the punch, not weak as in "lucky" or having poor technique.

Silva and Forrest come to my mind first. The level of power anderson put into the punch that ultimately KO'd Forrest seemed morre like a fist-bump than a punch. What are some other ones?
Also Weidman's KO of Anderson... didn't look like there was much behind that...
I think Forrest was just demoralized, and exhausted from the beating he was taking. Not saying he 'quit' per say, but it sure looked like he had more in him.

Honorable mention to Rich's KO of Chuck... there was almost no wind up, and about 6-8 inches of distance covered before it landed.

Forrest was dropped 1 or 2 times before that. He was already hurt.
