Yeah he won the fight but I knew the judges would score the power shots higher for Jared. Sean needs to be more strategic when he decides to be more offensive and throw power shots. He needs to pick more minutes in the rounds throwing power shots and throwing more than just a jab. He can jab the majority of the round but he will still need to secure mins in the round with agression and power shots. That's how you secure a round, even in boxing that's how they do it. The last min of the round Strickland should be throwing with more power and being more aggressive. You always want to finish the rounds strong.I feel Strickland won, but if all you're going to do is throw a jab for 25 minutes, judging may not go your way. Needs to work more into his game.

Because the UFC counted punching the arms as body shots. So it seemed close on the stats (well even then not really lol...head shots always been scored higher than body shots).Honestly...
Tell me how you give Jared the fight?
Is it because he threw harder and missed and the aesthetic of the hard attempts impressed you?
So Jared won because he threw harder and missed.
They weren't, don't kid yourself.I mean that's fair, but specifically for this fight, let's not pretend that half of Cannonier's Sig Strikes weren't leg kicks
Is he a safe fighter? Sure. Does he lack power output? Sure. Does he bore a lot of people? Sure.
Shouldn't equate to losing a fight you win.
Jared was punching arms and air all fight. Sean lit him up with that jab, was beautifully evasive, and had Jared visibly frustrated, actually asking Sean to stop moving.
Sean landed more. Landed cleaner. Controlled the pace. Frustrated Jared. I mean come the hell on.
Sean won the damn fight.
Judges saw blood on Sean face, so..........
