Sean O'Malley: Tyson Fury is not interested in Francis Ngannou anymore

"Please give me a title shot bossman, I'll downplay the fighter you don't like to get one"

Jones should finish his contract with UFC and fight Fury for 60 million, am I doing it right? He did twice as good as Ngannou against Gane, is undefeated, and sells more.

Imagine Lennox Lewis boxing Tim Sylvia 20 years ago lol. It doesn't help Frannie that in his last fight he was scared of striking with Gane and blanketed him for most of the fight. The same clowns who led Frannie to this situation are the ones siphoning his money until he has to crawl back to Uncle Fester.

I hate to agree with O'malley

But Fury fight sounds far fetched, Fury is the biggest name in boxing, why would he take a fight with Ngannou a dormant former UFC heavy champion, it is a step down in competition, when he has fights with Usyk and Joshua to choose from which would do more for his boxing legacy, the only realistic option for Ngannou is Wilder in Saudi Arabia, PFL or never say never and returning back to the UFC for a fight with Jones.

True but you'd expect Francis to have slightly better hands than JBJ.
Honestly I'm just making fun of anyone who thinks boxing a top boxer is a good idea. I don't think either guy has a chance against Fury. Ngannou probably has more power.

Rainbow hair makes some good points. Francis has not played this well. At this point he needs to fight someone, someplace and smesh them real good...and go from there.

Francis about to come crawling back to Uncle Dana then get tapped by Bones.
I dunno I said before he’s going to test free agency not like what he sees and return but I can’t imagine the ufc wanting to sign him. He’s clearly proven to be exceedingly difficult to work with like woodley

Was he ever interested ? Fury talks alot, Ngannou got played... Natural Selection. <mma3>

Of course, he was interested. It was an easy big payday. But what O'Malley says has merit to it. The fight is less marketable now and thus it would not be as big a payday, so less interesting for Fury now than it was back when he challenged Ngannou.

Though I'll believe it when I hear it from Fury himself.

he has a point that the fight has lost interest now that hes no longer ufc champ and jon smoking a guy that francis couldnt finish. it has to impact the mass appeal of the fight on some level. i think jake paul vs tommy fury results should also be impacting interest negatively. Most people should see this fight as a foregone conclusion. francis has small odds to ko. wilder has better because he actually boxes. among a few other hard hitting hws in that sport. francis hits hard but as of now its another past prime mma guy going into boxing to take an L and collect a big check. he will basically be signing up to promote boxing and damage his status. i dont see how this can generate the same sort of interest conor vs floyd did. tyson also would have to do most of the marketing/ selling of the fight to make it work.

francis had a lot of potential to be goat hw. reminds me of arlovski a bit - a hw with good mobility on the ground and sub offense but then they never use it. you see small glimpses of it but as they evolved as fighters it almost entirely went away.

there isn't a lot of high fight iq at hw. made me happy to see jon fight the way he did. thats the ideal hw. good mobility , well rounded, high fight iq. high sub offense and good wrestling.

It's the poodles opinion, he's opinion holds has much weight as any of our retarded asses.
