Schaub: steroids prosecution is stupid

Let everyone take steroids. Only way it can be fair to all.

They can’t allow people to use drugs. It would be chaos. Still, most know and understand that everyone is using. They still need to punish it.

We just have to think of passing drug tests like a skill, just like weight cutting is a skill, or grappling is a skill or tdd is a skill. On the high level that the UFC is, you have to join a gym that can help you with all the skills. Be smart, do What your coaches say, and they will not catch you.

I want to see the best fighters in the world not the best laboratory experiments. Cheating and using PEDs to gain an edge over your opponent in a sport where there is already a risk of serious injury or death... it's morally disgusting and a true sign of a coward.

It's pointless but not for the reasons noted.

Drugs are for sick people. People are not sick are poisoning themselves.

Then why do them to begin with?? Oh yeah, they make the 'not as good' BETTER. Because they work, because they give you an edge. GIves you stronger chin, harder to ko, better reflexes, faster muscile twitch fibers, faster recovery, overall stronger, faster, confidence, and it seems like a lot of champs are 'given' steroids in order to keep them champ longer, because its more cost effective to keep and continue marketing a champ than to build and rebuild a new one. Yeah, steroids make a difference. #FEdorGOat, didnt have to run from usada like some others i wont mention. got kod into his 30's, like a normal elite fighter would. Also, fkc it, #markhuntbless. a natural elite chine, power puncher, grand prix champ.
Cause Fedor didn’t loose muscle mass once he was fighting for organizations that were testing.

He's going down like a lead zeppelin since losing the smart one, Bryan Callen. He should have done everything in his power to preserve that relationship. There was a chemistry, and Callen did the heavy lifting.

A lot of pro athletes use, I believe you get to a point where it's either "join them or lose" - particularly in boxing, cycling and other cardio heavy sports.

Look at Michael Bisping, who has had his eye twatted out by a glowing Vitor Belfort on gear, his consciousness separated by a PED abusing Henderson, a split loss to a radioactive Chael.

It can change lives allowing people to compete on gear.

I’m not sure what you’re trying to say here...?

He's attempting to copy Luke Thomas, but isn't smart enough to understand Luke's argument.

Schaub gets dumber every time he opens his mouth. Lance Armstrong was a nobody in the cycling world till he put a needle in his ass and become 7 time tour champ. Ben Johnson was an average runner till he started juicing.

Yo b. Don chu ever, EVAH lissen to what Brampop Scoobs has to say.

If it's allowed, then it's required. If it's required, it's about who has the best and takes the most. Turns into a science experiment and not a sport.
It's been that way for years. I used to watch the NBA in the 70's, look at the difference in the players then and now.

there's level to this.
There is ped user>ped abuser>steroid monkey

So many incorrect and naive statements in this thread. I really love the ones who think PEDs "give you a better chin" or "make you harder to KO". Classic Shertardisms. Is normal.

Every fighter is on some shit. Even your faveys.

Not stupid at all, really.

If you'd allow everyone to take everything, you'll inevitably get numerous cases of fighters dying (extremely) early due to the abuse of these drugs.

hes right. except hes just saying it in a more stupid way then Luke Thomas .

not going to listen to the guy who signed up for a jiu jitsu match and just ran in circles

Exactly, Bisping is also an example to suggest the best guys abusing PEDs wouldn't necessarily be the best guys off PEDs. He was a gatekeeper during the PED era, in the USADA era, he became champ, beating the undisputed king of his division during the PED era along the way.

According to Schaub, in basketball, baseball, cycling and presumably MMA, the best players who got busted would still be the best if everyone dropped steroid use. Everyone in pro sports using them anyway, so why demonize an athlete for being better at it than everyone else and take them out the HOF or whatever?

Classic BS argument from users, as they have no clue who is or isn't on them.
Hardwork should be rewarded, not cheating.
Especially since at the top level not everybody has similar access to top notch molecules due to cost.
It basically comes down to who can pay the most which isn't fair at all even if everybody is 'on' something.
