Threaten to hunt his family down. Works every time.
So this one is a little different. I would never pay somebody for this, but I must admit it has me slightly worried because he actually knows one of my passwords. Here is a copy and paste of the email. Wondering if you guys have ever seen one like this? A google search and the email did not come up either. And yes, i did go to a porn site. lol. The way it is written, i assume they have no video or knowledge i went to a site and were just assuming but somehow just hacked a password of mine from soemwhere which apparently everybody is doing to me these days
Email sent:
I do know XXXXXXX (password was listed here) is one of your passwords. Lets get directly to point. Nobody has compensated me to investigate you. You do not know me and you're most likely thinking why you're getting this e mail?
actually, i actually installed a malware on the X video clips (sexually graphic) website and do you know what, you visited this site to experience fun (you know what i mean). While you were viewing videos, your web browser began working as a Remote Desktop having a keylogger which provided me with access to your display and web camera. Right after that, my software collected your complete contacts from your Messenger, social networks, as well as e-mail . and then i created a double video. First part shows the video you were viewing (you have a good taste hehe), and second part displays the recording of your web camera, and it is you. (i am pretty sure I would notice my webcam coming on)
You have got two different alternatives. Shall we explore the solutions in details:
1st alternative is to dismiss this message. in this instance, i am going to send out your actual video recording to every single one of your contacts and just imagine concerning the disgrace that you receive. Moreover if you are in an intimate relationship, precisely how it will affect?
Number two alternative will be to compensate me $978. We will refer to it as a donation. Then, i will immediately erase your video. You will keep going on everyday life like this never occurred and you will never hear back again from me.
You'll make the payment via Bitcoin (if you do not know this, search 'how to buy bitcoin' in Google search engine).
BTC address: 18z5c6TjLUosqPTEnm6q7Q2EVNgbCy16Td
[case-SeNSiTiVe so copy and paste it]
in case you are thinking of going to the police, anyway, this e mail can not be traced back to me. I have dealt with my moves. i am also not looking to demand much, i just want to be paid. email message%}, and no6Td if i don't receive the bitcoin, i will, no doubt send your video to all of your contacts including family members, co-workers, etc. However, if i receive the payment, i'll destroy the video immediately. If you need proof, reply Yes! then i will send out your video to your 13 contacts. This is a non:negotiable offer therefore please do not waste my time & yours by responding to this e-mail.

You need to contact this guy.
Just pay the man. Shit, he ain't asking much.
Why the heck did he ask for $978 lol? Why not round it off to a full 1000 I wonder.
I just got one of these emails today which reminded me of this thread. They did not say my password though. They are asking for $1000. The irony is that right before that, I just sent out a $1.1 million dollar wire lol. If they really had my shit hacked, they could do a lot more damage than $1000.
I wonder how many people fall for this shit?
I get one of these every couple of weeks. It's always some old password I used on Myspace or something 10+ years ago. Always makes me chuckle because they write to my work email saying they've installed spyware on my computer, caught me fapping to some porn and have recorded it....like I'm just jerking off here in the middle of the office lol.
