Fucking bullshit grad student health insurance.

My gf has a lump on her boob and the ultrasound to take a look at it isn't covered. $1200 bucks out of pocket.

Well that sucks, the CMS reimbursement is no more than $250.

Is it a solid mass (grey and speckled) or just solid black in appearance. Hope it's the latter because that is almost certainly a fluid filled cyst which is benign and common.

It is internal. Don't know the color but it is 1.5 cm, hard and smooth

When you say "hard" you mean by palpation, right? A fluid filled cyst can palpate solid but it's actually fluid filled.

Do you have the ultrasound?

1200 bucks for the ultrasound

I meant to do you have the images. You should be able to get them in DICOM format. They might charge you $35. There a lot of free DICOM viewers available.

Maybe I am misunderstanding you. No pictures have been taken yet. The doctors visit which includes the ultrasound will apparently cost 1200.

Oh - I though you had it already. ASk to go to a cheaper ultrasound clinic if you have to pay for it.

Seoul Street was rated the best Fried Chicken place here. I talked to a Korean guy and he said that in Korea Fried chicken is like pizza here in the US. Popular for take out and late night eating.

You should definitely check it out.
