I'm lucky in that I'm pretty far (relatively) west and kinda insulated. All our roads here are elevated and our power lines are below ground. I border the Everglades in Weston so I won't get the full impact but everyone I know on the east side is beginning to panic. Afaik even the East Side Motel has closed

Invasive burms or other nonatives are fine with me. Sucks for all the native snakes though, between habitat destruction and retarded fucking hillbillies killing them they are having a rough time. As for a shark ending up in a swimming pool, it will most likely end up dying becuase of the chlorine. If you can safely rescue the animal and place it back in its habitat do so, I know I would.
