Yea, I was in middle school.

My childhood home was a pos, if any of those hurricanes in the mid 200s like Charlie and Wilma would have destroyed my house with hilarious ease.

i was in 9th grade...it destroyed our rival school so we had to split our school with them

we came dumb early and they came after..had to wake up at 3am half of my freshman year while their school was rebuilt

that's by Ashville which is mini-mecca of cycling now in the Eastern US. A guy I used race with has built a tuscan style B&B offering agro-tourism, fine dining and guided rides. People talk about it that area but I haven't been to that place.

I only raced once in NC. I did the Blue Ridge parkway race many years ago which was run on the same route that arecreational ride takes place on. It was 110miles IIRC and that last climb went on forever. Would like to get back there sometime.
