Went on a date today. I wouldn't say it went poorly, minus her showing up a half hour late, drunk, and making am ass of herself.

*casually deletes her number*

Stop using Tinder, the redneck edition. Are you in Minnesota or West Virginia -- WTF?

This is a convincing argument for putting 1% of your wealth in bitcoin as schmuck insurance.

A good analogy that I heard was that Amazon was $80/share in 1999 and $10 in 2001. What the stock did during that time due to speculation and volatility was irrelevant. What mattered was that Amazon was disrupting the 100+ yr old model for retail.

Just deposited one dollar.

You need to lower your standards and live a little.

I miss the days when I would finger bang an Elementary school teacher in a car behind Friday's in a mall parking lot on a first date.

I got with my fiance like 3 months before Tinder and all the apps dropped.

Used to pick up girls on Craigslist, plentyoffish and OKcupid.

But bitcoin is a proposed currency, not a stock

Way back in the day of disposable cameras I used my buddy's camera and took a picture of my shit as a joke. That photo is still floating out there somewhere. I hope nobody finds it and posts it. It could ruin me.

oh shit, were you not drinking?

nevermind that's a whole different story, especially in today's environment

Yeah, you can explain Amazon's business model.

The only thing I've seen to explain Bitcoin is that Russians are using to skirt sanctions

Ye, an investment in Amazon was an investment in burgeoning retail technology. It's probably wise to invest in suppliers of virtual currency technology, but that's not what buying bitcoin is. Investing long-term in bitcoin is investing in bitcoin's long-term viability as an actual currency functioning as a store of value and medium of exchange
