Lol real talk I drive a civic. It’s paid off though and only has 100k miles on it. Will get a badass car in the next couple of years.

I used to drive more expensive cars, but I got an Accord for work when I went into human services since I'd be transporting clients. I'm not a car guy at all, so the fact that it has never needed repairs that took more than 3 hours to complete (and never mechanical, just the window engine), and even that is like once every 3 or 4 years, has me brand loyal a decade later. It's at 130,000+ miles and still runs perfectly. I got rid of my BMW years ago. Was driving it less than half as much and it was still always in the shop. Same when I had a Mercedes E-class back in the day. Next car will be another Honda. I care way more about not having to think about my car than anything else.

My first car was an Acura Integra. I loved that car for similar reasons to my Honda, but my friends gave me endless shit for being way too big for it. Lol. I bought a used (but fairly pristine) Nissan 300ZX after that, but got rear ended into a light pole by some dumb ass that wasn't paying attention, smh. That was my only 'high end' car I ever liked, but it was gone in less than a year. For some reason, even though it was smaller than the Integra, I didn't get shit for it. Lol.

Yeah my dad used to drive a Lexus for years. He even gave it to my brother after like 8 years of driving it and my brother got through college and his first couple years on his own in it. I would consider it. I'm just so happy with my Honda I kind of want to reward them, lol. My dad drives an Infiniti now and says it's just as good, except that when it does need repairs (rare) it's more of a pain than the Lexus was.
