I've wondered how non-rich fighters afford all their tattoos. Any chance that it is some sort of tradeoff for advertising for the tattoo artist? Or maybe certain fight gyms get a bulk rate from a tattoo studio on tattoos for their fighters?

Maybe it IS extravagant. I didn't go to that page to see what exactly she wants. I'm under the impression, however, that she lives and trains in a place that doesn't have elite training offered nor great training partners near at hand (I could be wrong about that, I'm not basing that opinion on much actual knowledge). Sherdog lists her as in Kelowna, British Columbia. What's the MMA scene like there? Maybe she figures the UFC training center will give her her best chance at being competitive and making a success of herself as a fighter. If she has fans willing to help her with this, good for her. I see no moral issue in her asking to find out.

10k to cover flights and hotel?... why on earth would a flight and hotel cost you 10k? is she planning to live like a queen for the day?
