Sarah Cheesecake needs money

This.

You have like 15 to 16 hours a day in which your not sleeping. That's plenty of fucking time to train and work at least part time.

I've known UFC fighters that have worked 6 to 8 hour days and still have time to put in a solid 3 hours or more in training a day.

Why do you assume that she doesn't work at least part-time, or even full time? Fight camps are expensive. Training is expensive. Life is expensive. Not everyone comes from money, or has a spouse willing to support one's dreams.

By their employers, not fans! It's like me thinking cops should get paid more and going and giving them money during there shifts.

Or maybe like YouTubers getting financial support for their channels via Patreon?

lol that's you tubers job tho...to find money through their fans. YouTube does not employ them, they are independent contractors so that comparison does not apply. Ufc employs fighters, not their fans...if they are not making enough to survive than go get a real job. Fuck em!

UFC fighters get in the ring, but they're not employees
by Ahiza Garcia @ahiza_garciaNovember 19, 2016

from CNN article:

Both are classified as independent contractors. Not as employees.

UFC fighters sign individual contracts with the company that only cover certain fights. Those deals vary in terms of how much individuals are guaranteed to make for fighting, and how much they'll get if they win. The contracts also include limited health insurance.

But that means there are large chunks of time when the fighters are unpaid and uninsured.

In contrast, pros within the NFL and NBA are employees of a particular team through the length of their contracts, which typically last for a season or more, and always cover all of the extra events that they have to attend.

Have you considered that maybe they aren't being offered more fights? Or considered that maybe they can't afford more than one fight camp per year?

Yes I considered it but unless they come out and express these issues with us we can't exactly read minds here. Am I wrong?

In this instance she hasn't fought in 2 years. Are you telling me the UFC hasn't offered her one or more fights in over 2 years? I find that hard to believe.

Can't afford to train in a fight camp more then once a year? It's possible. She wouldn't be the first or the last fighter who has had this issue.

All I am saying is that there is a disproportionate amount of women in MMA begging for money, while also barely fighting. It's an odd phenomenon to me.

Maybe they should fight more. Maybe they should get paid more. Maybe if they fight more and win those fights, they will get paid better.

Lol what are you trying to argue here? This is just semantics. You gave an example of youtube video uploaders being paid by fans and sponsors which they are since youtube does not give them a check for uploading videos. UFC places fighters under contact, whose company is on fighters checks???? UFC or the owners!!! They cannot fight elsewhere because they are employees under contract with the UFC. Youtube uploaders can go upload their videos with impunity. Whatever you are trying to argue, you are wrong. Nice try though Sarah Cheesecake lol.

Again if they are not good enough to survive on just fighting... pick up a 2nd job! Fucking entitled mellenial minded fighters.

Jesus Christ what a weird world we live in

Where is your source that she doesn't already have a 2nd job? She has certainly posted about having other jobs during her time as a professional fighter. I think you are just assuming she doesn't just to be able to have the joy of making some derogatory social commentary near and dear to your politics, but without actually bothering to know shit about what she is doing, the realities of what it costs to be a fighter, or what most jobs actually pay.

You sound like one of those business owners or managers who underpay employees and then act all righteous about it. They should just work more hours, they say.

She looked good in the poster... and then it all went downhill from there.

Sherdog: FIGHTERS DESERVE TO GET PAID MORE!

Fighter: Hey can you donate a few bucks to help me out?

Sherdog: <{ByeHomer}>

Or, you know, their employers can pay them!

Its a different business model but I think it can work.

Crazy right?

How comes that her opponent, who's about as relevant and famous, has the money for fighting and 451 stupid tattoos?

Do you have proof she does work a 2nd job???? This whole narrative is like me and my family wanting to take a trip but I cannot afford it, so I beg in gofundme to random people that I don't know I'm "Real life" to support something that I want and should be paying for. It is what is making our society shit and developing generations full of entitled poor work ethic employees. I have a feeling the way you are arguing, you have a bias meaning you know her or some shit.

Do what most smart people would do when in a dead end job--look for another one.

None of those compare to the long list of terrible nicknames that males fighters have had.

The Hilbilly Hearthtrob
The Flying Cockroach
Twinkle Toes
The Naked Man
Fancy Pants
Pee Wee
Ice Cream
Ash Cream Man
The Muscle Shark
Tickle Fight
The Dream Catcher
The Pink Pounder
The French Tickler

That's just a short list.
Definitely plenty of terrible fight names with the dudes as well (Beastin 25/8) But with the exception of Muscle Shark, I don't even know whose names those belong to. There's a lot fewer girls, with higher profiles, so their shitty names shine brighter.

I can't wait to see Sarah MorASS make her return.
