I definitely wouldn’t give them the right to adopt children, but marriage? They are adults and it’s not illegal for them to love each other. So why not allow them the possibility to formalize that love through marriage?

Currently it's regarded as over 4000 years old but it's only recently been anything to do with love..... Generally speaking it's a contract, to do with children, property, inheritance, rights and conduct.

It needs to be revised and made into a fair and binding contract, so everyone knows where they stand before it's entered into.........and negotiated before.

I like being married, but I find it pretty outdated. I would have taken husband's last name even if there weren't visa bollocks which was already complicated enough as it was without changing my name straight after. I'm sure as fuck not doing it since I became a citizen with all the immigration situations being so up in the air.

I may not have liked the whole wedding cake fiasco but they were a private business, not government employees and they should be allowed to refuse customers as they see fit for religious or not agreeing with the marriage reasons.

Well biological science probably can but science is not a source of authority. It’s a methodology..

But there are way worse gone situations kids are brought in, birth or adoption. I’m cool with it, kids needs homes and probably better then other adopting parent situations . I think abuse and mistreatment is too high by foster parents.

Yeah but there is still several cases of abuse of gay couples to their adopted children. Sometimes with both of them doing it. There was one these cases where both were doing it not so long ago and there was a thread about it here. It was horrible
