This Joey Janela fuck sounds pretty complicit in Sabu's death to me.

I feel like Sabu would just do all this shit anyway regardless of the circumstance. You can't stop the guy from wrestling if he wants to wrestle.

The guy wrestled two weeks after breaking his neck. You can't really blame other people for the way he is.

I mean it's the indies, where wrestlers perform fucked up all the time, and also Sabu not appearing would have ruined him financially most likely.
I get what your saying but Sabu being fucked up at this point is probably the norm, as sad as it is to hear he'd be in that condition for his own retirement match.
For a slow and Immensely battered and worn out 60 yr old wrestler, I couldn't really tell if he was drunk or he was just a broken down old man at this point. That spot where he accidentally went past the board to the floor was horrible, and he could have died just from that right there ...but that's the kinda shit he did to himself even when he was young.
Idk. I just feel like physically there was no good end for Sabu. The guy was like addicted to punishing himself like that...

I love cornette and there's some good stories by Brian last, but cornette obviously doesn't have much in common with Sabu's style and impact on the wrestling biz

I’ve been avoiding this reality all week, but I guess one of the guys who reinvigorated this sport to be something I’d watching into my late 30s and on is gone, and way too young at that. I know there wasn’t much left to say, but you kinda wanna see your heroes go out better than this. Then again… getting old does suck, maybe Sabu got lucky.
