S--t you hate in video games.....

being locked in walk-only when following/talking to an npc really rustles my jimmies
Mate, that's one of two key ingredients to the classic escort mission sh*tpie -- a recipe for universal jimmy rustle. Second ingredient is whatever you do right, NPC death or down by unfathomable idiocy nets you a mission fail.

Games that set up close quarters fights in small rooms, knowing full well that the camera will go absolutely haywire during the fight.

"Sekiro" was well designed overall, but there's this one guy you gotta fight in some 8x8 underground cave. Not only is the guy fast as shit and requires good reflexes to deal with, but the camera simply can't function properly in that area. You'll likely end up with a very up close and personal view of your ass getting kicked, since the camera is zoomed into your head half the time.

The original DMC was bad at this as you'd be in corridors fighting people and the camera was static.

It was a relic of the game beginning life as a Resident Evil spinoff. Thank fuck they changed that in DMC3 and later (let's pretend DMC2 doesn't exist)

I have to stealth his first health bar from above. the camera angle's there suck ass.

No compass in GOT sucked balls, the wind idea was cool though.

There are three so-named Lone Shadows; each a shinobi under command of the Interior Ministry whose primary objectives are reporting on and sabotage of Ashina in run-up to its invasion. One of whom is the Longswordsman and this, I think the fight you're describing. Damp, tight-quartered reservoir access platform. It's an intimidating and rough space, I agree.

not being able to customize controls.

and i'm amazed that this wasn't in my first post.

When they let you customize a character but can only customize few things. Go all in or not at all.

Updates for online portions of games I do not play online. I just want to play some single player RDR2. I do not want to have download a 5GB update every goddamn month, for the online portion of the game I don't have any intention of playing.

Thus using up space on the drive that could be used for other games too.

Dry, drawn out, intrusive tutorials.

Ryse: Son of Rome looks like a game I would love, but I can't stand it's tutorials.

Just throw me into the fire and seamlessly let me learn what I truly need to know.

I don't need a step by stay walk through teaching me how to double and triple strike. I know how to single strike and count. Let me get on with it.

No i dont want to be born and go to school for a half hr waiting for the game to begin. I dont give two shits.
That was fucking AGONY.

During AC where it wont let you enter an area because you cant access yet. Fuck. Off. This is retarded. Same with GOT but they do theirs with "you are entering overwhelming mongol territory". Just let me try to storm the fort without 473934738 arrows on my ass. When i have to do it in the story its no different so just let me choose when.

The new ACs are bettwr about this since origins.

You can access the whole map. You just run the risk of getting to a spot for 120 level guys and you’re at 1 and you’ll get fucked.

Only played 1, ezio trilogy and 3.
Is origins and odyssey worth it?
