Nice fight. Lamas is still a tough guy and he is very well rounded. He can also put an absolute beating on you and has derailed many guys. I like Hall in this one though; I think he can win the striking battle. Lamas is also a few years past his prime at this point. The grappling will be fun if it hits the mat — Lamas has excellent sub defense and good GNP.

Props to Lamas for always taking tough fights. That guy is definitely on the down slope of his career and no one wants to really fight Hall.

As usual, if Lamas can keep it standing and avoid a sub, he's probably likely to put a beating on Ryan - who I like a lot - but who knows how likely that is.

I think Lamas runs through him to be honest. Hall doesn't have the wrestling to get this to the mat and his striking has no power to scare or worry Lamas, as chinny as he's become. Lamas pieces him up standing for 3 rounds or maybe even finishes him.

That was what I felt against Elkins (though Lamas is a much better striker than Elkins), before Hall just spin kicked his head off multiple times rather than taking him down.

Not really much of a fan of Hall but he really doesn't need to wrestle or get takedowns. A little bit of tangling gets him where he needs to be. I think it all depends on how Lamas prepares. I don't think he can beat Hall by just implementing his usual style.

Ryan's good enough at what he does to beat the peripheral guys, but I think someone like Jeremy Stephens beats his ass.

Lamas with the tko

I like Hall in this. He is better once on the ground and I think he will be agressive in his striking because of this. The only way I see Lamas winning is by a fluke KO.

The way I see it, Saul Rogers on TUF showcased the blueprint of how you easily beat Hall if you can vaguely wrestle. Being a Brit, I would hazard a guess that Lamas is a better wrestler than Rogers and a much better striker so I see no reason why he can't follow the same pattern.

Maynard was essentially a walking corpse. Elkins is game, but he's a punching and his striking is poor.

Lamas sleeping Hall will be anything but a fluke

Lamas is years past his prime but I see this fight playing out similarly to Cub vs Kron

Lamas is not even ranked. Ryan is #13, he should fight somebody in the top 10, like Edgar or Stephens
