Ryan Hall an underdog against Topuria?

I think Ige was down, but they both got injured so it didn't happen. I don't know for sure people were ducking him, I just doubt he was lying, why would he want to sit out that long?
Because he's deluded. I don't think Ige was injured. Ryan Hall pulled out for an undisclosed injury, I remember making a thread about it. No top 10 would fight him and reasonably so. FW has enough talent that they didn't need to give in his demands. His resume doens't command that. So instead of getting a fight to stay active, he wanted top 10. Eventually he realize that was not the picture and he went with topuria. No one was ducking the guy. He's deluded. This guy was calling for top FWs

Ok, I get what you're saying, yeah I think he wanted a top 10 and couldn't get one, you're probably right. I am biased for Hall because I love BJJ, and I think he is a pretty interesting, smart dude, but his last performance definitely made him look deluded... he had one super risky trick... makes you wonder what he thought would happen

This result didn't surprise me whatsoever. Topuria is an absolute blue chip undefeated prospect who's solid or above everywhere. Hall is a one dimensional BJJ guy.

This guy hasn't fought since 2019, he had a few cancelled bouts before that so not entirely his fault. But he has to be realistic with himself. You haven't fought since 2019 and you're asking for a top 10 guy. He was asking for top 10, top 5. Fucking delusion. You take what's there. Ige was there, he called out Ige. Ige had a justifiable reason to not fight him, but volunteered anyway, hall pulled out and that's that. He has to know when you pull out against literally the number 10 guy iirc, the ufc is not going to reward you with another top 10 guy. DELUSION.

Hall is not even a top 15 fighter LOL.

Lol yeah you're right, I think he'll be more willing to take a fight now that he is coming off a loss, and he has very little time to keep competing. Honestly, his window is already up, but he might get a couple more fun fights in.

Look at the names on his resume. I remember that BJ Penn win. Like seriously, he's fought no body. It's almost annoying just thinking about how delusional this guy was. He's not an Islam Makhachev. He's not a guy that's been in the UFC with a long win streak, ranked begging for a top 10 fighter. He's an unranked guy with 3 or 4 ufc wins, asking for a top 10. He was lucky ige even entertained him and was willing to give him an opportunity. he doesn't deserve it.

I like his skillset. And I get it about his age. He's 36 so he's like man I gotta get it going as you mentioned, but still dude, You're not going to get it rolling if you haven't fought in 2 years. Being inactive isn't the best way to speed up the progress lol.

The Darren Elkins fight is what made him really interesting imo, not like Elkin's is a world-beater, but he is decent and Hall dominated him, but yeah he never really deserved a top 10. I think he kinda has it in his head he can take or leave MMA which probably isn't a great mentality to have lol.

Hall couldn't even sub Artem Lobov and some people thought he could cut through a legit prospect like Topuria like butter, shit was ridiculous <Lmaoo>
