Ryan hasn't been cleared, and he hasn't presented any exculpatory evidence.

His legal team has provided two bottles of tainted supplements that were tested by a third party and have a questionable chain of custody.

This is not a defense. Actual proof would be researching the batch numbers from the supplement companies and testing sealed containers of the same products to prove that they're actually tainted at the point of manufacture.

...and even then, it's still a strict liability regime. Amir Khan got a two year suspension for significantly lower levels than Ryan had.

I was disinclined believe Ryan from the beginning because he came out using disingenuous arguments to sway people who aren't as familiar with the testing system as he is after going through the process for years.

IE when he was playing dumb about the delay between the samples being collected and the announcement that he'd popped and pretending that he didn't know why he was allowed to fight.

Apparently, one of the supplements that Ryan is claiming was tainted already had the batch tested for contaminants.

Also, the supplement was already expired and had its batch tested a couple of years ago.

If this is true, this means that not only is Ryan guilty but also that his team submitted fraudulent evidence to VADA and the NYSAC.

If he tried to scam his way out of the suspension, then he should be harshly dealt with.

-There is no chain of custody for the "contaminated" products Ryan has. This dude has lied and acted certifiably nutzzzz every step of the way. No telling what him or his team did to those products. They are not reputable or trustworthy in the least bit. Plus they have a clear agenda & motive.


All these supplements are labeled in a way to where they have a batch #. So to be cleared of this I believe Vada needs to secure the sealed product from an independent retailer or the manufacturer with the same batch #. This way they know it was made in the same equipment with the same ingredients in the same mix. No way only one bottle would be contaminated. Every bottle from that batch would also be contaminated.

Otherwise it's nothing more than smoke & mirrors to trick the naive & appease his goofy fanbase.
