Lol, what a fucked up fantasy.
It throws Putin's plans awry. Can't let him think the US won't throw down and go to bat when needed. Doesn't mean there needs to be a war. After WW2 ended the West and Russia both advanced in Germany and split it.

Sure thing, absolutely nothing could go wrong. We couldn't evacuate our own citizens and we blew up a car full of kids in Afghanistan, but fuck it, let these same people fight a border war with Russia in Ukraine.
If Russia believes we really will invade, they are not going to fight a war.

Every military makes mistakes. Mistakes do not necessarily mean a military is wholly incompetent.

How dare you say some western army will defeat a Putin army?!!!! Free minds from the west will now destroy you and tell you how badass Putin is and how his aggression on sovereign neighboring countries is only West's fault. Damn be the west for luring the majority of people in those countries and making them believe democracy can work anywhere between Russia and the West.

Easy to be so confident sitting behind a computer. And well yea, both our military leadership and intelligence agencies have shown they are pretty incompetent. And here you are wanting a WW3 type showdown.

How bout if China takes Taiwan while you are playing Chess with soldiers lives?
You are right. If anything happens you can bet that something in Eastern Asia would happen to.

So why didn't NATO line up its troops on Ukraine's western border and tell Russia, if they invade from the East, NATO will invade from the West and Ukraine gets split in 2.
Ukraine isn't a NATO country...

The continued push from the west, which started with a coup in Ukraine, is literally why this whole entire conflict is happening.

Came for the Blame it on Biden.

And sure enough...

biden is causing so much fearmongering/FUD that it's ridiculous. ffs, they even put out a press release about semiconductor industry supply chains, fearmongering over fucking neon. neon. it's a nothingburger. tanked semi stocks, though, regardless. because people are fucking dumb.

zelensky asked for the biden administration/us media to chill the fuck out. he later even made a joke... that cnn reported as fact and spread more fud. ffs, he/ukraine even turned the invasion date into a holiday.

germany stopped answering calls from biden

russian politicians have been mocking biden relentlessly, asking for the white house to deliver the 2022 invasion dates so they can take vacations.

others in the eu have been asking for us to step back and let them deal with this

this conflict has been going on since december, but suddenly, 9 days ago, biden needed to stir up bullshit? and btw, we're on day 9 of "imminent" invasion.

the white house has been acting as an instigator in this, whether intentionally or unintentionally. shit's ridiculous.

oh... i thought you were making a different ww2 reference (and one that would be a joke in this context). but you seem halfway serious.

Lol at believing Ukraine is close to a democracy.

Get yourself a plane ticket and go fight, I'm sure Ukraine will take you.

It is a democracy just as much as Russia is if we want to compare.

As for fighting in Ukraine I don't even know if I'm competent enough lol though I know a retired professional soldier from over there who has joined ukrainian forces a year ago due to his ideals and private reasons. Fighting in a war isn't MMA lol it's the toughest single assignment a man can take on earth IMO.

Yeah I know it isn't in NATO but if the government and West Ukraine support a NATO ground invasion of West Ukraine then what is the problem.

On the one hand I can see Russia's issue with NATO expanding but on the other hand it is imperialistic of Russia to decide what sovereign nations can do.

They do take foreigners

On signing of contract you go to 3 months of basic training

Pay is about 600 dollars a month

The US has the highest military spending in the world by many multiples. When is the last time they won a war?

Do you have evidence of American military competence?

Your leaders will find a way to make things worse - it's what they do.

I wonder if that's the same intelligence he claimed assured him Afghanistan wasn't going to fall.
Or the guys who told him a US asset and a bunch of kids were terrorists that should be disintegrated.
Or the military commanders who watched Russia firing cruise missiles into Syria and basically responded with, "when did they learn how to do that?"

There's always never-ending "intelligence" when it comes to starting a conflict. We "know" for certain that Russia will invade Ukraine. We "knew" for certain that Iraq had WMD.

But we need more studies and the approval of congress when it comes to improving the lives of average Americans.

How's that child poverty level that Biden and his apologists on this board promoted working out?
