People says Russia isnt crazy enough to launch nukes. I say otherwise. They have no issues inflicting pain on their own people, history didnt changed much.

Also I wonder what Lavrov means by saying world will get Russia attention on Feb 24?

I pity the person who has to pick up the pieces of Russia after Putin's gone. Putin has cut the hamstrings of Russia for DECADES to come.

I don't see how Russia recovers without giving away the store to China.

It's kind of sad, because although Putin clearly has his own interests at heart I genuinely think he wanted to leave a legacy of Russia being a force to be reckoned with on the international stage and restore a sense of nationalistic pride. And he'd been playing the game pretty well until this huge miscalculation. Overconfidence can lead to some terrible decisions.

Some r&d department needs to make arm bands and reflecting tape that can change colors and turn off to a dark color with an app connected with bluetooth are something. I feel like a lot of Ukrainians died because that damn tape on their helmets and arms got them exposed to Russians.
You what??

Bad discipline regarding mobile phones got a lot of people killed early on in this conflict. But this was mostly from the raw Russian and Ukrainian conscripts and the Foreign volunteer larpers. The experienced Ukrainians and Russians were well aware (from the last 8 years of conflict in the Donbas) that the enemy could locate them from their mobile phone signal.

Apps aren’t exclusive to just moble phones.

Interesting read.

Denys Kireyev was a Ukrainian spy hailed as a hero who saved Kyiv from Russian invaders. So why was he killed for treason?

Nine days after Russia invaded Ukraine, a prominent banker was thrown from a van in central Kyiv with a gunshot wound to the head.

Denys Kireyev, a Ukrainian, had just returned from Belarus where he had been assisting with peace talks between Russia and Ukraine.

Now that Russia had troops on the ground, some Ukrainian officials looked at their colleagues and wondered whose side they were really on.

But nearly a year after Kireyev's slaying, his death is the subject of fierce debate inside Ukraine.

The man killed for being a Kremlin double agent may, in fact, have been a Ukrainian spy all along.

Ukraine's spy chief said Kireyev should be remembered as a hero whose intelligence helped to keep Kyiv from falling into Russian hands.

Tough decisions in the fog of war.

What are you even on about?

I have seen no reports of anyone get shelled because of glow in the dark armbands but many many accounts of people being shelled because of poor discipline regarding mobile phone use in the field.

But I'm interested to read your source material.....

I imagine about some high tech color arm bands and reflective tape that can turn on and off by the user. Similar to Old Snake’s sneaking suit from MGS4 that can change color and shit.

Russia must be getting their asses kicked hard for Vladdy to be threatening nukes again.

I'll tell you this for free. Many squaddies had glow in the dark (tritium) watches with leather covers. After they had a quick peek at the time, they'd cover them up to avoid being spotted by the enemy. We also used tiny little tritium glow light which we attached to our kit. They were only visible really close up in pitch black conditions. Worked great and very low tech i.e. 100% reliable no matter what.

No proper unit is going to be wearing these:

Well I still stand by my statement. The R&D department of defense should develop new technologies to combat the fog of war. And the shit doesn’t have to glow in the dark. Just change color when needed.

I don't fear my little russian troll.
You already are died as human, just are hoping that here ppl are idiots.

But no, this is only about Ukraine and Russia will not touch anyone after Ukraine surrenders.

We know next targets.
deNazification in Moldova. Target since 1992 th... well known.
Now only problem is that they doesn't have land border with Russia today....
Ukraine is problem here cos location and separatists in Transiatria are lethargic .....

Georgia.
Armenia.
These they doesn't touch today cos it is route to bypass a lot of sanctions.

Then will lurk where to go after this.
