Allies push for US weaponry after seeing impact in Ukraine

"WASHINGTON (AP) — As other nations see the impact of U.S. weapons in the Ukraine war, the Pentagon is getting more requests for them, including the high-tech, multiple-launch rocket system that Ukrainian forces have successfully used against Russian ammunition depots and other supplies, Defense officials said Friday.

Bill LaPlante, the department's
undersecretary for acquisition, told reporters that the Pentagon has been working with the defense industry to increase production lines to meet both U.S. and international demands for certain weapons. And he said some countries have already begun asking about buying the High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems, or HIMARS."

The longer this goes on, and the more inept Russia's military is proven to be, the angrier and angrier these bully fantasizers get that the people who should just roll over and die... aren't doing it. Every single comment is something just shy of blurting out "this isn't fair!" or "No! You guys don't get to win!" Just a bunch of whiny, entitled, incel chudlings.

Absolutely.

So much worse if they're actually just basing their preferred outcomes on what they expect, rather than what they prefer.

Just to be proved right.

Yeah but it makes for better strawmen and post to Like ratio to pretend that the average conservative or even Trump supporter holds the views of some mentally ill internet addicts that post pro-Russia propaganda.

Hey, look at this picture of a couple of boomers wearing a “I’d rather be Russian than a Democrat” shirt!

Doesnt helps that Tucker is a Putin scrotum masseur.

Guess they came second place in that exchange. Aim twice, fire once...

The effects of the weapons used in this conflict are horrifying. Not only is a multi-tonne vehicle basically disintegrated with one hit, just look at the piece of debris that shoots so high into the air it lands on the roof of the nearby building almost ten seconds later. And it wasn't a light piece either- it looks like it caves the roof in.
The power of these modern weapons is really something.
BTW, this debris might have been a dude..

If Russia really cannot win in Ukraine - which seems increasingly likely, and not just based on the current push back from the Ukrainians - at what point do they withdraw, and how do they make it look?

Isn't it an imperative that they retain the Donbass and, even more importantly, Crimea?

Yet Ukraine have said they will cede absolutely no territory, and the idea of them offering any part of the Donbass to Russia as part of a truce seems like fantasy.

Gone are the days of a potentially neutral Ukraine, too, should Ukraine win.

Surely the war can only end with the removal of Putin in Russia - as now it's Russia that must make concessions, and not Ukraine?
I honestly believe Russia will use tactical nukes to stop an invasion of Crimea It won't be nice, but I really doubt Ukraine will risk it

Mobilizing stocks of equipment is the bread and butter of logistics...

Russia gives certain troops shit gear and other troops high level stuff. Sort of like Waffen SS vs Volksgrenadiers in WW2. They decided to leave a huge percentage of their troops with decent gear at home waiting for god knows what while they put underequipped, low level guys on the front line. If Russia increased their total number of troops, maybe leadership would put more high level guys in.

Russia has never outnumbered the Ukrainians in this war overall. The reason why it failed is because it was totally misguided in the first place. I honestly don't know what they were thinking with that one.

It is looking that way. Ukrainians have the initiative. Putin and co need to go if Russia is to have a chance and I have a hard time imagining that happening.

If they were genuinely out of supplies at that time, the collapse would have happened in more than just Kiev.

So called badly equippped volksturm appeared only in 1945 th...
When Hitler had a bit more anti tank grenade launchers and they ofc had lack of live meat...

Fights already were in cities in Germany....
Then Hitler started to use tactigue that soldier should allow to get tank in distance till some 20-100-150 meters and launch panzerfaust....

Ofc these usually had just this...mabye some gand grenade too had been given as addition...

While in good times when Hitler was wining , they used for first attack waves a lot of well equipped troops, tanks, ofc artillery etc.....

The reson why Hitler initially had fast success to occupy territories quickly exaclty was cos attack troops were well supplied and equipped...

Waffen SS actually was meat for grinder when things get wrong....therefore this stuff had a lot of guys who weren't party members...

Other SS branches weren't " meat for processing in grinder " and these like SD guys etc Hitler attemped to protect from too high risks...
SD and Gestapo were stuff where was low risk to die in fights. Also well nutritioned and feeded with alco too...not rare cases...
