That would drive me nuts. I would rather read the book, if that was the case. Its like he has cotton mouth. Someone needs to send this guy some bottled water.

Oh, I've tried it for myself! My first years in the military were... Strange.. But as I had to do more and more speaking, I had to adjust my canter and spoken words per minute.

Yes they aren't Nazis but are tearing down things celebrating the defeat of the Nazis. The special campaign in Ukraine in 1943 was where the initative on the eastern front was flipped.

Defeat of the Nazis by the soviets. The same soviets who, after war was over, stayed here against our will, took away our independence, tried to russify us, and most importantly to me, loaded hundreds of thousands of our people in trains, which took them to Siberia where they were supposed to work until they drop dead. Thank God Stalin died, Khruschev denounced him and let people return home.

I don't care what they did with the Nazis. The soviet army can fuck off.

It is good also for western world from moral point.
These vatniks does gave all credit for win vs Hitler only to Kremlin...like U.S and U.K & Commonwealth didn't had existed ....

Hmm

UK 380,000 lost
US 420,000 lost
USSR 27,000,000 lost

Also many of these losses came against the Japanese especially for the US. I wonder why these vatniks give all the credit to USSR?

They have started to burn it. The "flames" and smoke was so big it could be seen in Finland.
I posted about it earlier.
They are "literally" forced to burn money and income.

This is all Pres. Putins' fault. This reminds me of the story of Pablo Escobar at home with his daughter in front of a fireplace. His daughter says "Daddy, I'm cold..." He says "Ok, sweetheart.." And throws $250,000 in cash onto the fire because he had nowhere else to put it.

Russia is now forced to burn money, just because...

Didnt the USSR try to ally with the Nazis before the Nazis decided to try and get rid of them anyway?

Stalin as an invidual was a bad guy. Everyone in USSR govt hated him except Molotov who was weird and didn't complain when Stalin arrested his wife.

Ehhhh, I think that alliance wasn't really a friendly one, but more meant as a way for both to gain extra time, smash tomato cans and beef up their militaries before the eventual confrontation which they weren't yet ready for initially.

They didn't have to screw the Poles over like that tho.
I can't really view the Soviet Union as a good guy during WW2, just because there was a worse guy around

Ironically, without the Latvian riflemen, there probably wouldn't be a Soviet Union.

Poland did the exact same thing in 1934 they signed an non agression pact with Hitler. Pidulski died shortly after that and any informal agreeement he made with Hitler died with him. In anycase Hitlers original plan was probably to team up with Poland against the USSR.

Cool story, did the Poles invade the USSR?

Now they had started to deal with Stalin's remainings.
If it was Hitler's monument, had been remowed in 1992 th...
Both of them were bad guys....

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Russian and Latvian governments had a written agreement that we would preserve and upkeep their WW2 monuments and gravesites of the fallen soldiers. It was one of the conditions for Russia to withdraw their army from Latvia in 1994, that's why it couldn't be done.

Obviously, because of the current events we've decided to not honour the agreement anymore.
