Everyone is lying and on daily basis.
Mass media needs clicks and so on + not all stuff is possible to check up.

Some politicians advised to lock down only ppl older than 50...like order them to sit in their apartments and self isolate...

Of course the media and people lie on a daily. Doesn't mean we should accept the lies and definitely shouldn't continue believing them after they are proven false.

There isn't and had not been verified proof that Ukr or Russia's air defense systems are capable to deal even with Uragan 220mm 1975-1988 th missiles....
While if for Ukraine there is excuse: their air defense equipment looks good and cool only on paper...
All modern things are....MANPADs...
Other stuff: SAM missiles with longer range are pre 1992 era stuff.
For Russia it isn't like this.
Still, while it is confirmed that both of them are able to deal with Thocka missile IF will be lucky....
MRLS stuff is different animal.

Range is 18-40 km.
These launchers usually are operated in groups...
2-4-8-12-16 launchers in group....in order to create valley with missiles.

What do you make of the recent post on RSOTM? The one regarding the tale of HIMARS and CAESAR sales. You definitively stated these transactions took place. It seems this person is labeling you a schizophrenic.

Yeah there seems to be a lot of that going on.
1) The Ukrainian boosters who post videos of Russian stuff getting blown up- why aren't the Russians going backwards?
2) The Russia boosters who post about X or Y tiny village taken- why are you advancing at a clip of 2km a day if you are massacring the Ukes?

Yeah...a lot of expensive russian stuff had been lost.
BTW by my opinion some falled down cos...ecxellent maintenance done! Everthing as had been planned.
Like 100 m $ worth launcher, 15-35-40 m worth aircraft and 3-6 m$ worth tanks.

If you fight for Russia and advanced ...you will dig trenches and arrange to harden positions and getting supplies: bodies, ammo and technique before advance further....
If you will lost positions you had taken under control....dudes in Kremlin will put you in basement ....

next day: repeated attempt, get lost 3 tanks and 3 БМП + xx bodies.
third day: repeated attempt, lost 2 tanks and 3 БМП + helicopter and xx bodies.
fourth day: lost tank and 3 БМП + helicopter + xx bodies.

HIMARS has reached Russian news outlets apparently. Lol Putin ordered priority destruction of them. It's just to feed the masses with more BS from Putin. Ukrainian's have said it completely changed the battlefield an put Russia in a position where their nowhere safe.

Yeah Russian maintenance has always been terrible. But clearly the Ukranians aren't pushing them back anymore, so either they also suck or the media stories are exaggerated.

Not likely they will gave them even 165 km range old type ATACMs missiles with 560 kg warhead. Sure considerably better than Thocka : faster, lower radar cross section, heavier warhead and longer range....
It is assumed that Russia will 21.07.2022 start more direct blackmail vs Germany etc cos Nord Stream I.
While these countries aren't all EU at all.
Nothing will prevent for example Norway to issue 10 b NOK loan + to ship next package with weapons to Ukraine.
If EU will be disstatisfied with this, they might close some nice valves...like Russia is doing...
