we are allowed to install mission+ supervisors from 30+ countries and maybe after 3 years internationally supervised referendum might be done on NORMAL grounds!!! Russia IMHO even today have no clue what stuff normal life and negotiations are...

NATO does have duty in first to supply full members countries if they had placed orders...

Yeah most European militaries (maybe excluding France) are woefully undersized and underfunded.

France is not exactly big either considering population.

Ukraine has nearly 20 mil less people yet nearly 2x active personnel on ground troops not to mention reservists (stats before war)

That's because in peace time it's considered an extra cost with no effective application

Not that the concept of "si vis pacem para bellum" is wrong, but without a direct imminent threat politics will ever think about short future stuff, specially in recent years with all shit that happened

Real upgrade would be an unified european army wich is kind what EU wish, but i don't trust EU tbh and would not like an unified euro army as long they're the ones in power

Also i believe the EU alliance give a fake sense of security
NATO is a credible shield due USA being in, but EU can be a big farce as far i know

Btw i don't think external militar threat is biggest danger for european people as we speak, for most of us the russian front is still a far thing (beside of course for estern/north-eastern bros) and China is even more far, with decades of asian games ahead

Our danger come from inner problem, give few decades and euros will see the price of retardness

West europe has no conscription while nearly everyone who has hostile country as neighbour still has it.

Latvia for example doesn't have mando conscription today.
Politicians now will attempt to introduce mando conscription again.
While IMHO talks about hazing were ...reality.
Ofc not so brutal like in some KB gyms or in student corps....
While they does have volunteer national guard + pros and police, border guard etc...

National guard per se doesn't use hazing....
KB gym might happen that will have hazing...for example one from steps is ...KB type fight vs guy dressed like casual on the street...
I don't think that to get kikced with shoes for irish step dancing and punched with bare hands etc like in MT without MT rules ...is good idea...

Student hazing is not mando in Baltics...
Even for corps...

If someone here is thinking about this: there might be higher risk than in Russia's mando service...

In general: specify what kind of hazing is expected and you simply might not attend this stuff if don't agree.
It might be brutal students corps stuff from time before 1914 th...
