Police helicopters have been shot down in Brazil iirc. Gang not terrorists though. Although that's just language again.

So the Nordstream gas pipe is being closed down for repairs and European politicians are warning that it may not reopen, meaning Russia might cut the gas supply to all of the EU. If that happens, it will certainly hurt Germany and several other countries badly... but I also think it would be another terrible, strategic blunder from Putin and Russia: concern over the gas supply has caused division in Europe and made Germany drag its feet on supplying the Ukraine. Scholz has been walking a tightrope, trying not to anger either Putin or his Western allies too much.

If Putin actually cuts the supply that card is played out. It will wreak havoc, but it won't strengthen Russia. There will be little left to deter Germany and the rest of the EU from throwing all it has behind the Ukraine as there is nothing left to lose from doing so.

Thats all the chips Russians got left I am afraid.

A ) 2014 is much more recent than 2001.. ( really that's the only reason required )
b ) 66 people is far less than 298.
C ) 80 children on-board which is more than the entire casualties of the Siberian
D ) one was a " accident " during war games
E) one was " terrorism "

Yeah personally I don't think it'd matter at all who or how to the loved ones of the victims who were on board either flight.

There's plenty of people who were " terrorists " but managed to change the perception over years. Just because one group claims they're terrorists doesn't mean another won't claim bravely fighting for their indepence/ land / religion morals etc.

Meanwhile my personal stance is fuck making innocents suffer. Regardless the reasons. Shrug.
