The fear of being destroyed by other nuclear powers is also likely the motive to pre-eminent strike.

If you want any hope of surviving the impending holocaust it pays to go first.

It's exactly because nuclear powers know they won't survive shit that they haven't started a nuclear war.

That's because Angela Merkel being tied to Putin’s hip. Her staff was a ship of fools.
History of licking russian boots started before Merkel already with Schröder. It's no incidend Putin choose to attack ucraine with Biden and Scholz as chancellors.

They think it. They don't know it.

Very big difference.

Not least of all in determining that I'm right :)

Both are considered pretty weak leaders.

@Zinger
Anyway you should take in account that before this shit your country didn't had really good relationships with Ukraine...
A bit worse than with Russia if talking about reality.
+ stuff that your country is covering their medical bills ...
Most expensive stuff was top notch level microsurgery in neurology...
In U.S price might had been >300k bucks ...
In Riga real price ( expenses ) ...at least 85 k EUR.
They did this for free cos this was kid...
Ofc you will cover this with your tax....world class top notch stuff done for kid.

If we're talking about regular people vs. regular people everyday "on the street" relationship, then maybe.

But I find it hard to believe that on government level we have someone we despise more than Russia.

Unless someone else threatens to destroy us, that is unlikely to change.

I had mean't about business ppl and regular ppl.
A bit also...about f*** gubbermint.
When psychopats since 24.02 yelled like crazy ...then in march ukr get weapons from them.before this no.
Diesel fuel, medicaments...yeah in 24 th and 25 th febr had been given to them...

My point is that if the area around the refinery is captured before they withdraw it may not be possible to get out without being shot to shit. I understand that area holds the high ground overlooking the last corridor out

You're right, the ukrainians knew what you described here and they are super quick to finish their complete retreat to the newly forming line in Siversk.

Here's todays update from the same russian source:

During yesterday's day and last night, the enemy, hiding behind weak rearguards, carried out a rapid withdrawal from Lisichansk and its environs. In some areas, the retreat of the enemy was so fast that the units of the LDNR Armed Forces were not able to closely pursue him due to the almost complete absence of military wheeled and tracked vehicles.
Currently, fierce battles are only taking place "in the neck" of the bag, where the enemy holds positions in order to give way to as many of his troops as possible. Up to half of the city has already been abandoned by the enemy, it is being cleaned up. The enemy also abandoned their positions on the Seversky Donets north of Lisichansk, and our units had already crossed the river there.
Apparently, the battle for Lysichansk will end during the current (or a little longer) day, and the general operation - this week.
The operation will end when our troops, pursuing the retreating units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, hit the newly organized defense line near Seversk.

In general, the enemy has already suffered and will inevitably suffer heavy losses during the retreat (primarily in technology). But he will retain the bulk of the experienced manpower. In this case, on the part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the primacy of military expediency over political propaganda is evident. From the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation - a tactical victory. - The creation of a "cauldron" with the complete destruction of the Svereodonets-Lisichanskaya enemy grouping was not achieved, despite all efforts and very sensitive (in the aggregate for a month and a half) losses. As a "plus" - Lisichansk will not be destroyed to the ground during long street battles.

They were there to lobby for more aid. Literally not weird but hey catturd finds it weird so it must be.
Oh yea appearing with Jim Acosta is how you get more military aid … got it, hey poor people suffering in USA get on hind shoe so you can get aided with $

LOL, if there was a nuclear holocaust you'd want to be one of those that died in the fires closest to the blasts, quick and painless.

Anyone surviving, even in a bunker, is the loser in that situation.

PEB is such a weirdo. Not sure why posts like that which are effectively just there to derail the thread won’t lead to yellows. That guy randomly starts claiming stuff that is not true.
Hell, Strychnine even likes them. Truly bizarroland in here

You're welcome to leave this thread at any time.

Sadly it's pretty obvious. No offence Strychnine but you defended ghost because you said it was his opinion not a source. Yet ghost himself tried to claim he posted a source.. ( he lied ) but still claimed he posted a legitimate source. Somehow no warning. No public call out . Nothing. Different strokes for different folks shrug.

I still like ya though lol

Are you privy to my and @GhostZ06 's private messages or any private messages that I send to anyone? Until you are, you really don't know what you're talking about.

I'm here to post info about the war in Ukraine and keep out BS. I'm calling balls and strikes as I see fit. If anyone has a problem with me, let me know in private.
