I have been absent for at least a version or so, but hearing rumors and rumblings that the Ukrainians are selling the arms, including stingers. Has it been brought up/discussed here? Again, just chatter at this point but I was curious if it has been discussed here. Seemed inevitable from the start to me, but...
Without going back through a version and a half, I figured I'd ask.

As it was expected russians in full control of Lysichansk (said in a previous post that by Sunday it should be finalized). Some small lagging ukrainian units might still be in the city but the main bulk of their forces (with losses of course) has been withdrawn to Siversk. Will be curious to see if the russians countinue the offensive towards the Siversk-Bakhmut line immediately or will they rest and consolidate first before attacking again.

i heard that when macv-sog or whoever were first testing them in nam that the VC were doing backflips & cartwheels from the impact of a single round. apparently they changed the ballistic spin which quelled the tumbling and from thereon out it took 3-4 rounds to bring charlie down

I remember how people a couple months back were happy about some belorussian guys damaging railroad tracks to prevent trains with military equipment, or whatever it was, to get to ukraine.

Three guys have been found, they have been cooperating with the investigators, so I assume they are admitting their guilt. Currently they are under arrest and the case is about to go to trial.

They are being charged with:

being members of an extremist organization.

committing an act of terror, while being a member of an extremist organization, which could have led to bodily harm or people's loss of life.

Doing damage to objects of infrastructure, rendering them unusable and creating a risk of crash and loss of life.

Treason.

At least one of them has a shot at getting the death penalty.

No, there was no evidence.

Luka says since the west doesn't like him, war is the easiest way to deal with him and Putin. There just needs to be an excuse from our side.

i've actually been to belarus.
never felt more eyes on me, not even when i was in russia.
my conclusion was that it's not the belarus state who is more paranoid than the russian state, it's just that the methods of the belarus state were very rudimentary. i mean, you're supposed to change the car after 8 hours, not have the same car after the subject for a whole week and hope he doesn't see it.

Sorry, I had read belarussian media ( if articles are in russian cos I don't know belarussian language ) for ppl in Belarus...
Aporox 2 years in row he is more and more paranoic.
Intitially his mantra was that Poland and Lithuania are " bad ", later ...all these dreams that someone might attempt to occupy Minsk.

Ukr and Poland + Lithuania & NATO might attack him etc...

Economical reasons too: Kiev is multinational city, btw russians from Belarus
and belarus ppl does have apartments, flats and offices, shares in some businesses in Kiev....
Ofc no one is happy if his property is deNazified with missiles, aviation bombs and shells...

Stuff I had lurked in ukr portals was some technical stuff and IT related forum.
In one forum ~ 20% posts and articles were in Russian...
No one gave a f*** and guys talked normally.
January....
After 24/02/2022 it had changed like day and night....
Ukr language dominance etc.
IRL it is mainly forum with ppl from Kiev..
