I made no claims on how trustworthy it was. I said it’s not an official estimate. Now you’ve gone from being intentionally dense to flat out lying.

I'm not really that emotionally invested in it. I understand Russia isn't using their full force, and I understand the anti NATO sentiment. Doesn't justify a single thing about this invasion, though.

Why do you guys get so upset when I say "you guys" yet there are the same people on here saying "TO ALL THE RUSSIAN BOTS IN THIS THREAD" like 8 times a day.

When I say "You guys" maybe I'm referencing the 4 or 5 people at time I'm arguing a specific point with. Move on dude, christ, it's not a big deal ol

Some people got too invested in this and I almost hope Zelensky manages to get away from Ukraine, seeing him on trial could cause serious emotional or mental issues for those guys. Until the next current thing.

Where are the official estimates? Link them.

The number 99% of Western Media has used has been that NYT article. Hell, Diplomat just linked an article at random to prove me wrong and its source was...the NYT article. Which is why I posted the CNN article issuing a soft correction of said article. If there were official estimates, they would be sourced. There are no official estimates. Even the Pentagon and State Dept aren't touching this with a 10ft pole.

Do you have any official estimates on hand? You asked me for a source to the 7k claim which the White House was using, and I sourced it. Your turn.

The best part is that the sources who started the narrative and have been habituating it are starting to get conflicting information coming their way and having to walk stuff back, now the same people who got attached to it have to do the "nuh uhn well actually what they meant was..." routine, like every other major event reported.

Remember when Trump killed Soleimani and Iran retaliated, and there were people in here posting actual, verified journos and intel people saying hundreds of US troops killed, etc. the sky was falling WWIII, on and on and on then the next day it was just...nothing. This isn't nothing, but the same type of person that got hysterical back then is hysterical now and just fanning their flames. THey talk about this shit like it's a fucking marvel movie and it hardly makes any coherent sense. Then they source some poorly formed speculation pieces and stats to back up their hysteria, those turn out to be wrong, then it's on to the next hysterical wind-up.
