I think they give Kamala assignments they know are losing issues and bad optics. They but her in charge of the border, inflation and now this. Meanwhile Joe just goes to Delaware every weeekend to have Jill give spoon feed him the puréed peas and inject him with steroids to get him through the next week.

Plus they are sending her to Poland after Poland just played us. So yea, have no idea what she is supposed to do other than look like an idiot.

this link also states Germany came out and agreed to not move forward with the fighter jets… also says she is going to meet with Justin Trudeau in Poland. I can only imagine how great and productive a meeting with her and Trudy in Poland is gonna go

I know this doesn't need to be said, but it needs to be.

At this time, in this situation, we don't need America's kindergarten teacher in chief smiling and waving.

That is all.

Time to save the mother fuckin day! America! Fuck yeah!
Shit it just doesn’t feel right without us being in a war.
...been playing too much "Call of Duty."

What a staggering number.. thats already 40% of what they lost in afghanistan in 10 years

What a dumb comparison to ww2. Weapons are more advanced since then so logically there would be more wounded in a shorter amount of time.

Think ww2 casualty rate is actually higher on average than nowadays not to mention ww1 where you had like 10k deaths a day

Sean Penn should stick to acting and stay out of politics.
The guy looks terrible. Is it drug use?
Why does Poland need US approval to give Ukraine the MiG-29s?
...but, yes, I agree with the Pentagon on this one. The West injecting Mig-29s into the equation would only escalate things.
We love the Ukrainians and wish them luck, but it is not worth a war between the US and Russia/China.
Going nuclear over the Ukrainian cause? I don't think so.

State Department official acknowledges Ukraine bio-labs

“This laboratory was reconstructed and technically updated up to the BSL-3 level through a cooperative agreement between the United States Department of Defense and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine that started in 2005. The collaboration focuses on preventing the spread of technologies, pathogens, and knowledge that can be used in the development of biological weapons,” the report said.

‘A bunch of malarkey’
Russia’s Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova on Wednesday repeated Moscow’s claim that the United States is operating “biowarfare labs” in Ukraine.

Zakharova said Russia had evidence the Ukrainian health ministry ordered the destruction of samples of plague, cholera, anthrax and other pathogens before the Russian invasion began Feb. 24. She described it as “an emergency attempt to erase evidence of military biological programs” financed by the Pentagon.

I think the US doesn't want the optics of Ukrainian pilots taking off from an American AF base in Germany and heading straight into the war (uhh...sorry..."military exercise") theater.
Those MiG-29s could land and take off from a highway in Poland. This is not rocket science.

Maybe i misunderstood the tweet. Sounded like they were comparing this ukraine war to ww2?

I don't think Ukraine can win in any conventional way. If this drags on for months and years it would be as an insurgency. Putin has a firm grip on the eastern part of the country but it's unlikely he'd be able to install a puppet regime without most of the country rebelling.

I think it's the unity of the international community in placing sanctions that really have Putin on the hot seat now. For all his expansionist goals this decision might cause him to be a big fish in a much smaller pond.

It seems like Ukraine has already won for the short term. A total victory for Russia does not seem possible in their current situation.

They would have to withdraw and reinvade for real with a lot more troops given the stubbornness and sophistication of the Ukrainian defense.

Every day that goes by they dig in more, get more weapons and more volunteers arrive.

Can't NATO countries "sell" the jets to Ukraine or some shit? I don't understand.
Countries are literally sending them weapons, but jets are a no-no?
Don't get me wrong, I do not want the US or NATO directly involved in a conflict.. but you'd think they'd have easy ways to get this done without looking like clowns in the media.
I think it would be much easier to give the Ukrainians ground-to-air missiles to knock down Russian jets.
I think it could be done. Giving Ukraine MiG-29s from Poland. How many? Where would Ukraine park those planes to not be destroyed by the Russians? What airfield? They have the pilots, but can Ukraine do the maintenance, arming, and fueling of those planes? For how long?
I do believe China was heavily involved with the North Korean (Korean war) and North Vietnamese (Vietnam war) Air Force. I think some of their pilots even flew missions against the US. Did the US declare war on China? No.

Actually considering how easily people died 80 years ago. Its quite the number.

I do believe Kamala Harris going to Poland will fuck this up and bring this conflict to a whole new level. Biden has already done his part in getting this conflict started. Russia should vote 'yes' and allow the UN to go into the Ukraine to de-escalate this conflict.
