In soviet style ranks system meaning for NCOs rank like sergeant was different vs western stuff.

Ground forces had 2 or 3 sergeant ranks ...
In most " staffed " branches were Jr. Sergeant, Sergeant and Sr Sergeant.

However between them and Leutenant were Starshina rank and Praporschik rank...

Leutenants ranks depending from branch werw 2 or 3 increments.
Jr Leutenant , Leutenant, Sr Leutenant.
Jr Leutenants and Leutenant ranks didn't had high salaries.

Difference between captain and leutenant was ....yup.
Higher than captain = major.
After this podpolkovnik ( leutenant colonel )...
Higher than podpolkonik = colonel.

Plus for technical perssonel ( in general in reality from stuff they did ) big dependence was from your civilian education level and work experience in techncial field.

Some % of technical service commisioned officers had already under belt some work experience and technical education. Unis had mandatory military training and if this had been done well you had been considered as Jr Leutenant in case if mobilization.... usually.
If very good marks and references, they sometimes had reccomended to get additional military training...some courses for reserve...and might get into military academical education system too...

They had confirmed for China and India that they are just liberating Russia's lands in their administrative borders from according to Mr. Lavrov Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson and Zaporozia oblastj in their administrative borders from illegal occupation.... also according to Mr.Lavrov Russian Federation needs to create some zones in other ukr areas as buffer zones.
In these areas too according to Medvedev, Morozov and Ivanov should had been done referendums and therefore again new next borders might appear.

Supply convoy from country in war with horses etc. They had took load and had intent to travel back. City ruler told boy that he he might stay in this city. Boy told that he does have some cattle, caves and basements.... in his area.
He told Thank you and God doesn't have borders.
Horse moved and passed border for road back to his home area. He looked back a bit scared, then continued to move.

In Casiv Yar in >96 % buildings doesn't function electritiy or cold water supply from networks. Waste water collectors doesn't work, 0 waste remowal.

Long ago liberated Severodonestk does have cold water supplies functioning < 60%, waste water treatment the same.
Not alone to talk about hot water supplies dream or centralized heating.
Electricity they does have thanks to army generators.
Civies unemployment ~70%.

The Ukrainians can't do an offensive even if they wanted to, their logistics & reserves have been degraded to the point where it's no longer possible to concentrate more than a handful of brigades in any one area.

The Ukrainian Army still has full operational Brigades? For Ukraine that would be roughly 5,000 soldiers. More like full Battalions of 1,000 soldiers. So much secrecy on the size of the current Ukrainian Army and how many casualties it has taken, it is hard to tell. I believe it is operating at roughly 1/2 the size it had in 2022 -- and shrinking. Add to it desertions and AWOL incidents. Funding from the west will not create new soldiers to fight.
