International Russia/Ukraine Megathread V15

Did you ignore the vid I showed of the #1 propagandist solovyev talking about how bad things are in Russia? Just keep denying it comrade…

Russian economy is always bad (the future will be better for the whole world, hopefully).

The question is whether it's bad enough or will be bad enough to change the most likely outcome and the answer is most likely no because we have a historical references.

It is calculated that russia definitely will want to continue war in summer because vegetation will increase success to use very small groups infiltration tactique.
Therefore ukr will need a lot of anti infantry mines.
Ofc they does use different IEDs , however specially manufactured mines are more comfortable to use ....

Dunno what kind of mines they will prefer to use.
Anti tank mines might be modified to be usable vs infantry too, however they are large and more expensive.....

yeah it's becoming a consensus that Russia will do a huge offensive after winter.

Really surprising that Ukrainian military command wasn't retarded and impatient enough to do another ill-fated offensive and is instead conserving for another defensive year.

With Starlink and Telegram getting shut off, Russia is now losing ground in some areas and slowing down in others.

Terrorizing civilians is 'hope war' in that it's intended to force a political solution. Destroying the grid does not affect the military operations. The military has generators and will not be slowed down no matter how many substations are destroyed.

Spent part of the morning catching up on the war. Depressing. Below is one of the best places to follow:

Key Takeaways:

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov continued to explicitly blame the United States on February 10 for the lack of progress in ending Russia’s war against Ukraine and reinvoked the Spring 2022 Istanbul talks to justify Russia’s rejection of Ukraine receiving meaningful security guarantees.

The Kremlin throttled Telegram on February 9 and 10 — a significant intensification of Russia’s three-year campaign to reassert control over the Russian information space.

Russia’s ability to acquire foreign machine tools despite Western sanctions is reportedly allowing Russia to increase its production of tank and artillery barrels- a key constraining factor on Russia’s defense industrial base (DIB).

Unconfirmed media reports suggest that Japan may fund non-lethal military aid to Ukraine through the Prioritized Ukrainian Requirements List (PURL) initiative.

NATO jets intercepted another Russian fighter jet close to NATO airspace in the Baltic Sea in late January 2026.

Ukrainian forces recently advanced in the Dobropillya tactical area. Russian forces recently advanced in northern Sumy Oblast, in the Kostyantynivka-Druzhkivka tactical area, near Hulyaipole, and in western Zaporizhia Oblast.

With Telegram is funny.
Ofc russia does have spies and informants, diversants and saboteur located in ukraine.

However they always needs next new informants etc.
A lot of them are recruited after tg disicussions groups comments etc.

Then informants ofc needs to get instructions and get reward, to get some stuff usable for espionage etc.
However agents if will meet in person with informants does have high risks to get exposed.

Therefore agents usually are placing some stuff somewhere and after some time ( again in order to reduce risk to get spotted ) curator is informing informant that here or there is stuff....
Then informants might collect stuff without meeting agent and agent located in Ukraine might not meet informant in person or send them messages etc.
Agents might communicate with curator located not in ukraine, curator then might send infromant instructions...

Informants if aren't completely stupid will not install anything not casual for ukr users in order not to rise suspicions.

Especially not max etc...cos even if someone just will see icon it will be red flag.

Another way how to hire informants and saboteurs is to get informant providing info for example from bank, loan company or service company ......about clients who does have financial problems.
Plus banks and loan companies usually does have info about clients job post and previous job positions, education ( because for credit risk score usually are required data about current and past job, post in job, term how long client had worked in current and earlier job ( to evalue client's stability level and chances to get next normal job if he will lost his current job ) and education ( to evalue career chances potential and again chances to get normal job if current job will be lost ).

Such info is valuable for special services.

Once they catched bank employee.
He evalued clients cases who had financial problems. Ofc client file even does have address and phone, e mail, post address etc stuff.

He filmed his comp screen with smartphone, saved pics in memory card and placed memory cards in negotiated place, where courrier might collect mem cards....with these pics.
Get paid with €, grivnas and some gold chain...

🤣
Mao in China killed 70,000,000 Chinese.
I think taking over 20% of Ukraine is a good return. More before this war is over.

Would you feel the same way if it was your family getting slaughtered? Your neighbors? Your friends?

And all for what exactly for these people?

The Ukrainians can't do an offensive even if they wanted to, their logistics & reserves have been degraded to the point where it's no longer possible to concentrate more than a handful of brigades in any one area. They simply can't move enough men & supplies around to sustain any sort of sizable offensive, the best they can do is push a small section back a few miles for a week or two before the Russians wipe out their logistics again and cut them off. There's a reason the Russians took out so many Ukrainian locomotives & trains, without rail transport the ability to move around entire divisions or armies and keep them supplied on the go is gone.

what do you think about this:

Lol. Look at the scale on a map of the region. Those yellow areas are only a couple square miles in size. It's like maybe 15-20% of what they got in 2023. Why do you even post this garbage when anyone can look at a map and prove that it's demonstrably bullshit?

I wonder if this is why Putler has not been seen in 10 days. At some point he has to get the real truth on what's happening on the front and the map that Gerasimov has been showing him is a total lie.
He probs thought Kiev was ready to be taken soon. Now he realizes the front lines are way back from where he thought they were and his economy is collapsing and he has no off ramp.

It is small indeed but you and spinmarino talk about the diminishing UKR army with no soldiers left so how is this even possible?
