War propaganda sucks. I have no idea what’s really going on.
I was not keeping up with the war, but when it first started, the news here in Brazil were more focused on Ukrainian successes and how it was a matter of time for Russia to be financially broken. There were guys recruiting brazilians as mercs all over.
This year the news tune changed to sad reporting about brazilian mothers/wives who lost people in the war. A single mother who didnt get any money because her husband went MIA. Brazilian amputees and guys who lost their dicks because of landmines. How this week there were 160k new graves open there, how the number of ukraine deserters are up to 200k. Bunch of “war experts” saying that Russia is actually bankrupting Europe and how the Russia war machine is the best in the world.

It’s crazy, almost like someone changed the algorithm in both YT and in the MSM.

Trying to read it here Marino sounds like a russian bot, Sandis kind of in the middle but I have trouble understanding his english. The rest of the people usually post a bunch of “influencer” videos too (I cant take influencers seriously, maybe I’m old lol). I really have no idea what’s going on, it’s like parallel universes.
And I’m not trying to diss anybody (just marino a bit, because his english is strange too lol).

I think the main question is how much aid Trump decides to provide. It's an open question as to who the final victor will be, but practically speaking we're 3 years into a 2 week Special Operation, so it's hard to argue this will be anything but a pyrrhic victory for the Russians if they manage to keep the land they now occupy.

Starlink, the satellite internet provider operated by SpaceX, is currently down worldwide, knocking users across multiple continents offline. The company confirmed the disruption with a notice on its homepage stating: “Starlink is currently experiencing a service outage. Our team is investigating.”

The disruption was first reported around 7:20 PM UTC on July 24, 2025, according to internet-monitoring sites.

Reports from users in the U.S., UK, Argentina, Italy, and other countries confirm that the outage is widespread. Tracking sites like DownForEveryoneOrJustMe and StatusGator flagged the issue shortly after it began. The disruption is especially concerning for rural communities that depend on Starlink as their primary internet source.

So far, SpaceX has not shared any details on what triggered the outage or when services might be restored. No updates on whether the issue is hardware-related, software-based, or due to external disruptions.

I've read some News earlier today that it was in the middle of an ukraine counter operation. The article made it look like it was intentional by Elon.

How big is the Ukrainian Army this week? Do you think they will hold the line for another 6 months?

You missed San Marino accusing Koya of being an Israeli propagandist in the Gaza thread. It was the single unintentionally funniest thing I've read from him besides his grand suggestion of air dropping Ukrainian soldiers behind Russian enemy lines.

The most sober assessment is that it's a three year stalemate. When you zoom out on the map there's essentially no movement. Ukraine won back areas in Kharkiv and Kherson two years ago and Russia got a couple small towns after losing a million men.

Marino is not a bot and there is nothing wrong with his English. I spent many years in Brazil. Still corrupt as ever. With Lula again as president. We can speak in Portuguese if you like. I did not know Brazilians were fighting in Ukraine. Must be the dumb ones from the northeast. What misinformation is Rede Globo spewing out this week? Don't be influenced by the RDS posters in this thread.
