International Russia/Ukraine Megathread V15

So apparently the Ukrainians snuck a bunch of trucks into Russia and throughout Russia with these drones hidden in them. They drove these trucks to various bases throughout Russia and had them all launch their drones at the same time. Apparently, the drone operators were also smuggled into Russia and controlled from nearby. I heard many of them got caught and killed, but the damage they laid down was impressive.

Anyone crying about escalation does not live in a country currently under attack by Russia.
They hired Russian drivers who thought they were delivering cabins, the drivers were interviewed on Russian TV.

The drones were controlled by satellite and the operators are safely back in Ukraine according to the BBC.

BBC News - How Ukraine carried out daring 'Spider Web' attack on Russian bombers

Been waiting for an operation like this. Any reports of severity of attack yet?
(seems I messed up the quoting function. Never mind, im sure Ruthless Ryan sees in anyway )

7B worth of airplanes destroyed or seriously damaged.

reportedly just over 40 bombers and AWACS

Apparently Putin and Lavrov are western commentators now, since they've said repeatedly Russia wants to conquer the whole of Ukraine. The REAL objectives aren't anything stated when Putin declared war. The REAL objectives are a bunch of destroyed villages in the east with zero economic or tactical value.
One from these small villages they managed to grab last week...it wasn't Soledar.
2010 th : 920 inhabitants.
2020 th : 420 inhabitants, looks cos very high unemployment %.
2021 th : approx 300 inhabitants in reality... on paper maybe the same 420 registered.
2023 th : approx 50 ...
Now abadoned months ago cos 0 jobs for civies in close area, frontline approx in 120 mm mortar fire distance approx year in row....
However village is village and now liberated.

If about new Poland's president..
He actually in reality doesn't wants to see Ukr nor in EU nor in NATO and this is reality ukr should get and cope.
One from bonuses is that he not likely will block collective assistance bills for ukr in EU .....
Depends ofc from how much on him does have impact Duda to brainwash him not to block ....

If about airfield in Irkutsk oblastj : it had Mig 31, An 12, Il 76, Tu 22, Tu 95 and Tu 160.
Looks that 5 airplanes were filled with fuel and get totally deNazified, there are questions that 1-5 also are damaged, however difficult to tell about damages in details.

Ukrqaine wants to repair TV tower in Kiev....dunno why, they might send iranian drones again, and then what? again will repaor and then again and again the same?

Ukr had asked next __new loan portion from world bank. They will made decision this month... loan portion ukr had asked this month is approx 1 b USD$.

Hysteria in russia is till heaven level.
Mainly because they get ...that ukr managed to purchase or rent trucks ...in russia... to rent rooms where to assemble drones and other stuff. In ...Russia.

They does have fear that maybe a lot of cells had rented rooms etc and maybe soon will be other attacks somewhere.

Obiviously also that ukr does have informants networks and might hire for example saboteurs in russia.

Shoutout to @PEB for the info

Well, one objective has already been reached: Keeping Ukraine from joining NATO.
Russia has 5 oblasts: Crimea, Kherson, Zaporizhia, Donetzk, and Lugansk. It wants Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, and Odessa. With these 9 oblasts it will have completed Novorossiya (New Russia). Ukraine can keep the rest.

Big bad Russia still not able to take out Ukraine is so funny to me. It’s been years and they’re in a war of attrition with a tiny nation that’s begging for scraps from others

At this point I’d take Wisconsin over Russia in a 1v1

Imagine a country having hundreds of thousands casualties and still believing they aren’t really at war.
Yeah, like the US in Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan.
Also legit lol at saying Ukraines drone attack caused no “real damage” - billions of dollars apparently is nothing to comrade over here
Yeah, the war on the ground has not changed much since that stupid attack. ...and we are still waiting for Russia's retaliation.
Boy, 42 Russian bombers destroyed has gotten Ukraine the war won. The Russians will now be moving back to Russia and leave Ukraine with its original border. Who would have guessed it would be that easy. The key to the whole ground conflict and occupation was destroying planes inside Russia.

Thanks, mate. Remain stupid. 🤣

I don’t really give a shit about your article you shared.
I really don't give a shit about your opinion.
BTW Pearl Harbor was a resounding success for Japan as an operation. It was a failure because Japan brought an enemy into the war that they couldn’t beat. So your point you were trying to make really falls flat because it’s Russia invaded them 3 years ago. They didn’t exactly start a conflict with a powerful new enemy now did they? But I’m sure no one has ever accused you of being a history buff.
Blah, blah, blah, and some more blah. Keep on whining Blayt7hh.

Mykhailo Drapatyi resigned from his position as commander of the Ukrainian Ground Forces on June 1, 2025, following a Russian missile strike on a training ground that killed 12 soldiers and wounded over 60. He stated he felt a "personal sense of responsibility" for the tragedy. Drapatyi cited his inability to ensure the proper execution of his orders and a command culture unwilling to accept responsibility for battlefield failures as reasons for his resignation.

He resigned because he felt personal responsibility for 12 soldiers dying.
It is right there mate:
"Drapatyi cited his inability to ensure the proper execution of his orders and a command culture unwilling to accept responsibility for battlefield failures as reasons for his resignation."

NBD. Bombers don’t work anymore apparently. They’re actually saving Russia money by sparing them the upkeep cost on those planes.
i think the problem is the Russian aviation company's got fucked over by putler. There is zero innovation when compared to the soviet days. Everything is made by shitty Sukhoi, there is no mig, no Yak, No Tuplev, Ilyushin..theyre all just 1 mega corporation.

So think like the backfire, bear, are things of the past, and they have failed to replace the bombers with more modern ones.
