International Russia/Ukraine Megathread V15

Yes Donald he’s been doing it for the last 3 years, most of which time you held water for him…

I knew Trump had no power to end this war. It was runaway idiocy and ego that had him and his supporters thinking he could and that the war was somehow Bidens fault. Welcome to reality, dipshits.

I don't have an end game.
It is up to Ukraine and Russia to end this conflict or keep fighting till Ukraine runs out of male soldiers.
Simple math and common sense. Ukraine has lost close to half its Army in three years of fighting. They are not getting that back. Ukraine has lost US support, and the Europeans can't fill the void the US has created. Ukraine is running low on weaponry and ammunition. Russia has plenty of soldiers to replenish its losses. Two new divisions added to the conflict every month. Ukraine has nowhere near that number. The Russian military industry is turning out equipment, shells and ammunition. Sanctions on Russia have not worked. Russia has not really advanced westward, and Ukraine has not really advanced eastward to recover its territory. Not a stalemate but a war of attrition that Ukraine is currently losing. Ukraine will soon reach a point where its Army is no longer combat effective. When that time comes, Russia will start its movement westward. I've covered all this before. The media and videos posted are 'cherrypicked' to display Ukraine as doing well in this conflict. It is all propaganda. Like how Biden was in perfect health and running the country during 4 years of his presidency. It has now all come to light and been proven a lie and a coverup. Fake news and fake videos. Ukraine will come out of this a divided country or a fully conquered country. Their version of the US loss in Vietnam. No, the good guys don't always win. Big changes are coming that favor Russia this year or the next. The Russia economy is moving along, and the Russian people support Putin (or his lies).

The three big mistakes Ukraine made was: Having a corrupt government (not a democracy), trying to join NATO, and brutalizing the Russian ethnic minority in the East of the country. They were warned by Russia time and again but did not listen. Hence a three-year conflict they are now about to lose.

I can't really argue with what you have said. It is all true.

I think your detractors are angry that you are downplaying the negative impact on Russia.

It's difficult to read these words and continue to believe that Trump works for Putin. But I think Democrats will manage it.
actually it is quite easy.

He sent another mean Truth whoopdi fucking dooooo! I guess the "Vladimir stop" tweet wasn't enough.
I also find it kind of funny he had to put "of Russia" after naming Vladimir Putin. It wasn't as if we thought he meant Vladimir Putin of Oakland California.

He announced no policy changes that would hurt Russia in any way shape or form.
No threats, no tariffs, no new sanctions, no seizures of assets, no lines drawn in the sand.
Hell he is bringing in Afrikkaners because of persecution, why not bring in tons of Ukrainian refugees?
I unno do sumthing.

Halfway through it he turns on President Z for not being polite and deferential as he fights a war and we try to profit from it asking for mineral rights.

Then he excuses himself from any blame "This is not Trump's war" and has used the hypothetical "This war never would have happened if I was president" bullshit to pump his own ego up yet since he has clearly failed in his promise to end this war before he even took office, because he is such a miracle worker.

Such true leadership shown there, much like Truman and Churchill during Wolrd War II.

I remember Truman's "This ain't Truman's war, I blame FDR, Hitler and Hirohito! Tweet.

And the famous Churchill's "This is all Neville's fault, now I gotta clean it up like nobody has ever done before" Truth to his 8,700 followers and how those rallied those nations to fight back against Nazis and fascism!

I tell my kid all the time, actions mean something not words. Here I see a bunch of self serving words from my POTUS on his own little "Truth" platform and I'm not impressed by them but evidently you are.

I like you Stoic, we hold different positions but that doesn't mean my side is 100% right and your side is 100% wrong.

But you got to be a little more cynical than your post above shows even if you are heavily right wing, you can't take these few words and try to negate all his actions, lack of actions, business ties and prior praise of Vladimir Putin of Russia.

So you agree he sucks but think Harris is worse?

He has his problems but yes Harris was worse and enough people over there agreed with this sentiment. The democrats could've easily won had they not tried to hide biden's brain turning to mush and running someone decent

Meh. They fucked up in 2020 making her the running mate after she implied he was a sexual predator and racist at the debate. 0% chance they were gassing biden then replacing their black female VP. Their own identity politics bit them in the ass.

You mean he couldn't effortlessly end the war as soon as he took office like he said? Weird. It's almost as if countries who are taking and defending territory don't care about what Donald Trump has to say.

Very surprised. This guy is either severely out of touch with reality or his dementia is kicking in.

Very astute observation by Trump. I do think something has changed with Putin the last few years tbf, he has gotten less rational. Maybe its dementia or he knows he doesn't have long left to leave his legacy which is why he is going all out with this Ukraine war.

Based on how decisive Trump's victory was, who do you think could have beaten him "easily?" Kamala certainly was a bad candidate and would have been an unmitigated disaster as a President but the Democrat Party as a whole now has the lowest approval ratings in recorded history. As bad as Kamala was, she was ironically their best shot, IMO.
