International Russia/Ukraine Megathread V15

Yeah, really. Dude literally spins everything, so the nickname makes sense. I find it weird that a supposed American (who was also supposedly in the Military) is rooting for Putin and Russia and posting videos of Russians saying they hate the US. Also him saying we should leave NATO and that NATO should be abolished. It's really weird and the dude sounds like a sad person.
If he was actually a former U.S. vet he is a terrible pathetic person with his views, If he is a brainwashed Russian propagandist he is shit also. If he get's roubles to BS and spin ....he's also crap.

The most significant thing thats happened to me in recent months seems to be the Russians pushing the Ukrainian front line about 20 km back from the edge of Donetsk. I'm guessing those were the most fortified lines in the country given that conflict had been going on their since 2014 and the Russians made no impression on them in 2022.

Honestly I find it very hard to "trust" pretty much any source with these kinds of details of who might be ontop but really that there seems to be negativity about the situation from media sources I would expect to be pro Ukrainian doesnt fill be with hope for their situation.

As I had posted in 2022 th: part of ykr will be under russia, another part in dreams and debts till next war in ukraine.

Such situation even is affordable for a lot of westerners for some timeframe.
Also ukr will get some chances to relocate from ykr till next war.

If to bear in mind that russia wants ALL ukraine....sooner or later...even this will be some achievement.

I don't see why Ukr should sign any mineal deals etc with U.S. With the same success might sign with Putin or XI.
Maybe better with both of them.

There are clear signs that U.S most likely will throw ukr under bus anyway.

• They didn't had approved any next new aid bill since 20.01.2025
• Looks that they might not sent key officials to next Ramshtein meeting.
• It is told that U.S had started perssonel reposition from aid hub in Poland specially used for ukr supplies.
If so, Ukr should get reality. If there some brain remainings......

ISW, April 8th and 9th, 2025.

Key Takeaways:
  • Russian forces are currently pursuing three distinct tactical objectives in the Pokrovsk direction, but Ukrainian drone operations and localized counterattacks are continuing to complicate Russian advances in the area.
  • Russian advances northeast of Pokrovsk support both the ongoing Russian effort to envelop Pokrovsk from the east and west and the effort to pressure Kostyantynivka from the south by advancing along the T-0504 highway and eliminating the Ukrainian salient southwest of Toretsk.
  • The situation immediately south and southwest of Pokrovsk remains extremely dynamic amid intensified Russian offensive operations and localized Ukrainian counterattacks and drone operations in the area.
  • Ongoing Russian offensive operations to seize Pokrovsk and attack Kostyantynivka highlight Russian President Vladimir Putin's determination to seize all of Ukraine through military means at whatever cost if he cannot do so through negotiations.
  • Russian forces renewed long-range missile and drone strikes against Ukraine overnight on April 7 to 8.
  • Russian forces continue to innovate with long-range Shahed strike drone tactics to maximize the impact of strikes against Ukraine.
  • Russian forces recently advanced in Kursk and Belgorod oblasts and near Lyman, Toretsk, Pokrovsk, and Velyka Novosilka.
  • The Kremlin is considering passing a bill that may incentivize volunteer recruitment for conscription-age men ages 18 to 30 years old.
  • Russian forces continue to marginally advance in the Sumy-Kursk Oblast border area, but the Russian force grouping in the area will likely be unable to launch a major offensive operation against Sumy City in the near term without receiving significant reinforcements.
  • The Russian military command is likely attempting to form a buffer zone along the international border in Sumy Oblast, although Russian commanders may intend to press further into Sumy Oblast and towards Sumy City in the future.
  • Syrskyi stated that there are currently 623,000 Russian military personnel fighting against Ukraine.
  • Syrskyi also spoke about Ukraine's efforts to further develop its tactical and long-range drone capabilities.
  • Russian forces advanced near Kupyansk, Lyman, Toretsk, Pokrovsk, and in western Zaporizhia Oblast.
  • Moscow said it was investigating the killing of eight civilians by Ukrainian soldiers in Russia’s Kursk region, which was held by Ukraine forces at the time of the reported deaths.

Ukraine's military chief says new Russian offensive has begun

Some of them are wearing Western military district uniforms. so they're definitely not mercs
It is diffiicult to tell.
If you have cash, you might purchase even WW2 or WW1 or Ukr or Rus uniforms clones ( copies ) in russia. With cash ofc.
This is real life. Since 1992 th.

Even worse, real one or clone copies of medals...etc... even from WW1 era stuff.

Ofc real physical papers and additional papers from archieves and check up papers from registers etc that you had officially earned this .... it is different thing here.

Flags too....pay and you will get.
Ofc here in a lot of cases they might not be according to real one's colour code and sometimes even not by proportions etc...
Sometimes colour cheap used, sometimes low interest for perssonel to use proportions standards or even both.

He is not american and isn't rep supporter nor he also cares about american taxpayers money.
He had proved that he cares only about Russia.

1.He had cryed about " my taxpayers money " when talks were about any possible assistance for Ukr.
2. He literally is Lavrov office excuses posting copy paste machine here.

3. He is claiming that he is U.S military vet and NEVER had reacted about talks regards possible further actions with GI bills!

4. He didn't cared about bills for Israel....like this doesn't exist... so concerned about american taxpayers money. LOL.

A lot of strange stuff in reaction patterns from him.
He doesn't match even isolationist redneck type, nor also average conservative christian type etc.

Total ignorance about hitler, japan, russia stuff historically.
Pushing up all bad about U.S history etc ...while blind on others.

Full indirect justification for Kremlin, clear propaganda guidelines from Kremlin and steel artifical nerves to hide that he is most U.S hating poster this forum ever had in these threads during 3 years in row.

Atrur most likely again is drunk.

Yes, they does have cruise missiles and bloggers are thinking that they does have just 290 km range.
This is mainly cos yanks with their bottlemates in russia does have MTCR etc bullshit.

These missiles might be used against ground targets too ...and easily might have more range than just 290 km.
Yanks russian bottlemates with MTCR. Both dems and reps always the same: russians bottlemates and friends in real life.

BTW mines historically were very effective in Baltic sea. These Finland and Estonia does have and to deal with them is more complex stuff than with dozen of cruise missiles...they also are simple and relatively cheap vs effect they might deliver.

BTW for Ukr are some good news and some very bad news.
Ukraine too much had yelled that almost like europe automatically should pay them dozens of paychecks each month like they does have huge unpaid debt.

When shit 2022 th had started , EU had removed a lot of tariffs for import from Ukraine etc burdens in order to help Ukraine more.

However Ukr oligarchate appeared not enough polite and realistic.
Relatively high % of EU lawmakers are discussing about returning to January 2022 th import from Ukr rules and tariffs.
After some months we will see.

In such reality for Ukr to talk how much xxx b € they are planning to get from europe is .....worse than in mental clinic awerage dreams level.
They really can't get that before reconstruction calculations war should get stopped? Or again museums reconstruction plans during wartime?

ISW, 9 April 2025.

Oleksandr Syrskyi (Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine) stated that there are currently 623,000 Russian military personnel fighting against Ukraine

Syrskyi stated that Russian forces are increasing the number of personnel in Ukraine by 8,000 to 9,000 new personnel per month through contract recruitment and that the Russian force grouping fighting against Ukraine increased from about 603,000 on January 1, 2025 to 623,000 just over three months later. Syrskyi attributed these recruitment numbers to the financial incentives that the Russian Ministry of Defense (MoD) and Russian federal subjects have offered to Russians who sign contracts with the Russian MoD. Ukrainian Main Military Intelligence Directorate (GUR) Deputy Head Major General Vadym Skibitskyi stated on March 3 that there were 620,000 Russian soldiers operating against Ukraine and that there were about 580,000 Russian soldiers operating against Ukraine in November 2024.

Ukraine's strategy in the past year or so has hinged on defending fortified cities like Vuhledar and causing attrition to the Russian forces to create a bloody stalemate, after which Ukraine could build up their forces to match or potentially outmatch Russian forces. However, they've been consistently driven out of their fortified cities, with Avdivka and Torersk being some of the most notable instances of this. Ukrainian defense near Pokrovsk are currently struggling under the Russian offensive, and if Pokrovsk falls, Ukraine has no fortified position behind that for quite a distance, forcing them to either give up large chunks of land or defend open and unfortified ground.

The AFU is not in great shape either. Their premier units, like the 47th Mechanized, have been whittled down to a shell of their former selves as attrition takes a major toll on them. Their rank and file are not doing much better, as many of their units around Pokrovsk are at less than 40% strength according to Pravda.

The Russian military, meanwhile, has a formidable artillery advantage and has begun catching up to Ukraine in the quantity and quality of FPV drones they’ve been using. Incentivized by large cash bonuses and salaries, Russian volunteers are currently signing up in huge numbers. While the Russian economy is struggling, there is no indication that anybody in the Kremlin is considering ending the war due to the economy. Countries rarely end wars due to economic pressure in the first place. For example, both World Wars bankrupted the British Empire entirely, but they never surrendered until all of their objectives had been achieved. In fact, among Russia’s political elite, the main complaint has been that Putin has not mobilized the economy and populace more. If you remember the Wagner revolt, Prigozhin's complaint was that Putin was not producing enough ammunition to fuel the war effort. I also believe Russia is not going to simply give up and go home, as the Russian political elite are in lockstep around supporting the war.

The Russian "barrier" troops are using drones to kill their own soldiers who pause or fall back.

Somewhere, the ghost of Stalin is smiling.
