I've only heard from some americans about resigning, but today Trump shared a very "de-escalating" post in truth social in which he called for guess who - Zelensky to come and sign the deal. No mention of dictators or elections. Poroshenko said yesterday "I won't criticize Zelensky, in these moments we need unity as ukrainians". Zaluzhny met with him in London and gave him support as well. The whole Zelensky is unpopular or illegitimate right now is entirely false. I know you dislike him but he seems to know very well what he is doing. His behaviour at the White House was that of a bad motherfucker, very far from a clown tbf

I was being unnecessarily flippant there. I get it, turning a colonel in SBU is big but US has had its share of spies over the years. Maybe they weren't active colonels but it was huge nevertheless. I expect nothing less since Ukraine and Russia were extremely close.

The changing landscape in global security is being reflected in the stock market. Stock prices of European and Korean defense companies shot up. I should've thought to buy Rheinmetall shares when this whole debacle went down.
