I am going to say one thing after following russian social media for three years: russians are so scared that they piss blood from the ukrainians even if you let the ukrainians completely naked. Despite of the initiative which the russians have clearly had in the last year and despite of Trump demolishing Zelensky every day with different Kremlin narratives and expressions, russian bloggers are not enjoying still their vodka, they continue to produce as usual - panic (for no legitimate reason IMO). Here is what Kashevarova had to say in her most recent Telegram:
The Ukrainian Armed Forces are preparing another attack in the Kursk direction: to expand the front, block Russian units on the flanks, and push the Russian Armed Forces away from Sudzha.
Negotiations are negotiations, but we can't relax. As reported by "Go and See", the Ukrainian Armed Forces are gathering forces near the border with the Bryansk region. However, Sladkov is right here, they will not go to Bryansk, this is a diversionary maneuver. If they attack Bryansk, there are forests and swamps there, and they will have to go along the roads. Most likely, they plan to strike at the junction between the Belgorod and Kursk regions, or at the junction of the Bryansk and Kursk regions.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces probably want to expand their activities in the Kursk direction. This is advantageous to them, especially against the backdrop of the negotiations. And they have the forces for this. They are preparing anti-tank barriers, have been digging in and strengthening themselves along the line of combat contact over the past 24 hours.
Their task is to expand their presence in the Kursk region, push the Russian Federation away from Sudzha.
We can't push them back yet. Along the border, on the flanks, they have the most combat-ready formations. The sky in the Kursk direction is practically under the enemy - a swarm of drones every day. They don't even really work with artillery, they've relied on drones and electronic warfare. They've brought up very powerful electronic warfare, our fpv is burning.
Our guys need to be ready for an offensive. Negotiations can last all year, and Trump can call Zelensky names all year, but they will continue to try to weaken Russia and Putin in order to bargain more.
In Kursk, our guys need real serious forces both for containment and for an offensive. Remove the guys with crutches from the front, right, the 30th regiment? How will these poor guys help you with the Ukrainian Armed Forces' offensive, will they wave their crutches away? And transmit real information to the top, not lies.
P.S.: Well, as usual, they choose an offensive for significant dates. It is possible that everything will begin on February 23. Everyone is celebrating in Russia, drinking, and not waiting for the Ukrainian Armed Forces to attack.
