Trump was obviously wrong. Putin will not negotiate on terms that are not suitable to him when Russia is now doing well in this conflict. The longer this conflict lasts the better it will be for Russia.

Russia went from being 80% GDP of Italy's (and that's before the many sanctions put in place) to now increasing its GDP by more than 400%?

Trump doesnt appear to be buddies with Putler like you thought he was. threatened more sanctions against Russia should Putler not end this war. Putler has recently admitted the economy is over heating and cannot take more abuse. Yes they are gaining more bombed out villages at a massive cost of life, equipment and pain back in Russia. Putler is now saying his objectives in UKR are almost complete as he knows he cant continue this madness as his country will crumble soon.
