International Russia/Ukraine Megathread V15

Lex's interview was fucking trash. Another podcaster turned propagandist.

Zelensky "Putin is force conscripting 18 year old Russian speaking Ukrainians to fight and executing those who refuse"

Lex "War is Hell."

lmao

Fucking loser.

I noticed it a couple years ago.

Lex thinks everything can be settled diplomatically. Lex has relatives in both countries so he takes this weak fence sitting position or invites guests which are pro Russian narratives so he can travel freely.

I won't be surprised if Lex tries to get an interview with Putin and will blow him more than Tucker Carson.

And after the interview, Putin said that Carlsons' questions were really weak.

I've been wondering same thing too. Have they even tried in last year or so? It's a good thing that it takes up so much of their AD systems which allows them to strike oil and ammo depots easier but even if they attempted some strikes Russia would def put a lot of resources towards it.

im pretty sure one was destroyed already is the rumor. It goes to show that russian training is absolutely god awful. i dont think the system is bad persay

Are all the jets the Ukrainians are getting going to be used for something?
They doesn't have a lot of them.
Looks like most likely are used in western ukraine...

Initially was idea to use them in western ukraine against subsonic cruise missiles...
Cos old missiles for F 16 are awailable and despite too obsolete models for modern air warfare, they still might shot down subsonic cruise missile. This is cheaper than to use for example IRIS-T or something like this.....

additionally factor is that exactly subsonic cruise missiles russia does have a lot. Huge stockpiles even from ussr era...

There doesn't looks good perspectives for Ukr or Russia.

Looks that west will attempt to get some bla bla bla ceasefire, allow russia to keep annexed territories under control.

Putin wants more....stuff with ukr will not agree.

Complicated things sometimes are simple.
Reason why Putin invaded wasn't NATO at all, it is ....cos NATO is best protector for Russia de facto.... they does knows this reality....

This is excuses for public btw...mainstream public ( voters ) doesn't dig in realpolitik and are buying this empty narrative...in propaganda had been invested damn a lot and will be invested even more.

Putin wants that Ukraine will recognize annexed provinces de iure as part of Russian Federation....
Why?
Cos then sanctions, almost all will be remowed and Putin will have more resources for next war in Ukraine in order to get more..
.

Tacituque used by Putin 2014- early 2022 th was to create these 'peoples republics ' in Donetsk and Luhansk oblastjs BUT don't incorporate them de iure in Russia.

Why? For legal reasons and there big nail...it even more had prevented investments in Ukraine.
Cos then Lavrov always had told: these aren't russian territory AND Russia isn't responsible what happens there ...because doesn't control these " republics "....

With Crimea was different tactique : since 2014 th : to make Ukraine to recognize Crimea as Russian Federation's territory.

Why? Big pride and reputation boost in international scene, russians in russia happy PLUS ....Sanctions remowed .....and still even after this they had .....these 'peoples republics 'in Donetsk and Luhansk oblastjs....
To use these if they want: they are financially and physically ( transport routes usage etc ) so dependent from Russia thad can't resist Putin's orders...
The same like these separatists republics in Georgia.... and if some shit there...then it isn't russia, russian ministry of IeF, police etc aren't responsible about control cos " it isn't russian federation territory " ...
In Georgia this approach is since 2008 th....

So now despite empty claims that he will protect Russia from NATO he already had failed : he had pushed Sweden and Finland in NATO.... with his threats ofc....

Ofc doesn't help for reputation that he didn't managed to play peacekeeper between Armenia, Karabah and Azerbaijan....

Then failed to protect Assad regime in Syria, despite had invested damn a lot of $ .....

Now Putin's friends in Transitria are without natural gas supplies and soon will have rolling blackouts....

Ofc he needs " to save face and get hounoured for big achievements "...therefore will press Ukraine regardless from expenses .....

I am translating the article on Tuta the Yakut at a thousand words per day and posting it here. I posted the machine translation but it's really not very good.

No, not really. Ukraine never really had a chance. Trump is the only thing that can now save what is left of Ukraine.

What is left of Ukraine? Russia hasn't achieved a single objective in almost 3 years. When people like you post dribble like this, I seriously can't tell if you are doing it knowing you are stupid, or if you are actually just that dumb.

Yeah, i wonder what happened in 2014 that made Ukraine want to join NATO.
That time in 2022 Uncle Joe said Russia would not face sanctions over a “minor incursion” into Ukraine. 🤣
It was okay for Putin to invade Ukraine like he did in Crimea in 2014 when neither Ukraine nor the West did anything.
I am so glad this idiot will be out of office in 13 days.

Yeah. Okay. Keep drinking the Kool-Aid.
. Russia has taken over 20% of Ukraine.
. Russia has kept Ukraine from joining NATO.
. Russia has destroyed much of the Ukrainian infrastructure.
. 400,000 dead Ukrainian soldiers and a shrinking Ukrainian Army.

Are all the jets the Ukrainians are getting going to be used for something?
Nearly four months after Ukraine's first batch of Western fighter jets arrived in the war-torn country, the US made F-16s have largely stayed under the radar, quietly helping out with sorely needed air defense. Yet despite the pomp that marked the F-16s taking to Ukrainian skies, relatively little has been heard about the first few jets now in Ukrainian hands.

A few are on display in Kiev for the public to see. It is a big attraction for the kids.

• Russia has lost its own territory in Kursk
• Russias infrastructure is currently being destroyed
• Russia has helped to add new territory to NATO
• Russia has almost 1,000,000 dead soldiers and currently can’t field its own troops so uses North Koreans

🤣

None of which is a laughing matter.

I would reconsider continuing this approach.
