International Russia/Ukraine Megathread V15

Since the beginning of summer, Ukraine has stopped paying for Russian gas.
In June and July, Ukraine consumed an estimated 12 billion cubic meters of gas and did not transfer payment to Gazprom.
After seizing the Sudzha gas distribution system and taking control of part of the Russian GTS, Ukraine doubled its gas withdrawal under the guise of its "direct" sales to Slovakia, Austria and Poland. Due to the withdrawal and non-payment, Ukraine received an additional profit of €2.3 billion.
Try to guess where this money goes.
Gazprom has not yet made demands on its partners in the person of the Ukrainian government.
Ukraine might cut off natural gas and crude oil supplies for Slovakia and Hungary without invading Kursk oblastj.
They simply might tell that some equipment in Ukraine doesn't work and repair technicians are mobilized and mogilized in trenches....

If about Poland, they during 30 years gradually had reduced natural gas import....
While some pipelines were used for transit. From Belarus to Germany. Since Poland recieved transit fees they didn't gave f****. While in March 2022 th Lavrov demanded them to pay roubles not even and usd for natural gas supplies and Lukashenko threatened to close valves despite then main reason to continue transit was to supply Germany with russian natural gas.

Poland had imported relatively a lot of crude oil for private businesses, while after Lavrov yelling they prepared to switch crude oil suppliers.
The reason also was cos refinery capable to process urals mark crude oil with 0 problems might process Brent or WTI mark crude oil....

So russia has been invaded for the first time since ww2 and putin won't even issue a statement on it?

"Glorious 3-day invasion is all going to plan!"

Anyone that disagrees?

BTW about Stalin's death. Since something like 1950 th Stalin started to fear from doctors and had opinion that they wants to poison him.
1953 th he had bronchitis or pneimonia and despite he recovered he had problems with blood pressure.
If he had used doctors for this ....most likely might had lived some years longer......

Oh it's definitely less than 10k.

Ukraine has 5 brigades in kursk which is about 15 to 25k men

Had 4 in original assault added one later

What this guy said. The estimated initial invasion force was about 10-15k so they definitely have had more than 10k by now but safely under 50k...

Russia_displays_T-14_Armata_tank_featuring_Nakidka_radar-absorbent_camouflage_925_001-bc4d0957.webp

As reported by Kontakt6 on August 17, 2024, Russia presented a T-14 Armata tank equipped with the Nakidka thermal camouflage system at the Army-2024 event. The Nakidka system, a radar-absorbent material (RAM) camouflage, is intended to reduce the visibility of Russian military assets to various reconnaissance and targeting systems. Developed by the Scientific Research Institute of Steel (NII Stali), this system is designed to decrease the infrared, thermal, and radar signatures of objects.
The Nakikda's application extends beyond armored fighting vehicles to include field fortifications, command posts, vehicle sheds, and ammunition and fuel depots. The system does not require specialized equipment for deployment. The Nakidka system is reported to reduce the likelihood of detection significantly, as NII Stali claims that it decreases detection by day/night viewers, TV systems, and seekers by 30 percent. Detection by infrared seekers is reduced by two to three times, and radar detection by six times, with the thermal-radar signature reduced to near-background levels.
The system is effective in the optical, infrared, and radar wavelength bands up to 12 centimeters and lowers the radar cross section by 10 decibels. The Nakidka system is relatively lightweight, with the material itself weighing 2 kilograms per square meter. The complete camouflage system weighs approximately 125 kg and can be installed within 0.4 to 1.0 man-hours per square meter. It is designed to endure combat conditions, including small arms fire and napalm attacks. The system is secured to vehicles using brackets, belts, and buckles, which can be adjusted with standard tools from a tank's toolkit.
However, the presentation of the Nakidka system on the T-14 Armata tank at the Army-2024 event has prompted discussions regarding its practicality. The Nakidka appeared to cover critical turret sensors, radars, and the optics used by the gunner and commander, potentially impairing the tank's active protection system (APS) and laser warning receivers (LWR), according to Kontakt6.

they either need to produce this thing or stop trying to show it off.

He had killed a lot of them too, especially Jewish doctors, and those that remained at the time were not very good doctors.

Yes, he had launched a lot of investigations about " bad doctors " and ordered Beria ( KGB ) to deal with possible internal enemies lurking to poison soviet elite....

Nakidka stuff is awailable also for T-90M non export version.

Actually it isn't new idea, in late 1990 ies Poland had developed active armour plates and one variant was with 4-6 mm Rubber type coating. This reduced effective radar reflection cross section in certain wavelength bands.

Also there are efforts to reduce thermal signature.
One from most common methods is to have auxilliary engine used when tank doesn't moves. Then resource for main engine is saved, lesser fuel consumed, lesser noise and heat...

Another method is to install more complex exaust systems for main engines in order to cool exaust gasses more than in classic systems.

Weird becaude according to Sherdog, the last time I posted in a thread about Trump was Saturday which was three fucking days ago, dipshit.
You cannot be saying this unironically....."I haven't posted in 3 days, eat shit libtard" LMAO, have a good rest of your day, I guess you have no response for defending Russia anymore...

I've been posting, but not about Trump. I have a life.

A bunch of people who are scared to question Putin.

Kursk Region. Ridovka's story about evacuation from Glushkovsky District

"Completely destroyed crossings - Kursk volunteers are pulling out of the danger zone those who did not have time to get out on their own," colleagues write. Rylsk became a transit base for civilians. Everyone was evacuating their fellow countrymen: random soldiers, volunteers, fellow villagers.

(Two majors)

Rostov fire can't stop in the third day now.

For the second day, rescuers have been fighting the fire after the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked an oil depot in Proletarsk, Rostov Oblast. Today, an explosion occurred there, which injured 18 firefighters, 14 people were taken to hospitals with serious burns.
Having any refineries of any kind is almost useless if it's close to UKR, heck they have even hit ones very far away. Easy pickings really and the massive cost of fixing this must have Putins undies in a bunch especially with whatever revenue is lost.

Doesn't looks that Putin is worried about Kursk oblastj.
Looks that almost all fresh weapons and ammo supplies & drones are delivered to rus forces in Donetsk oblastj.
A lot of signs shows that Putin had ordered to take Pokrovsk in Donetsk oblastj ASAP.
They achieved superiority in drone warfare, number of mortars and arty ammo they are able to use in this area AND ofc " meat " is supplied generously.

Now they are 10-11 km from Pokrovsk...night will be awful in this area.

They have to try to get as many sales from suckers as they can, because their normal frontline stuff has been proven to be utter crap.

its not even a bad tank, per say. The turret is a bit...meh. This was the original design, but they canceled it for current t-14, it looked like a next gen black eagle which was also superior to the abrams.

The 30mm Cannon and the Phalanx would have been great for the current day battlefield
