International Russia/Ukraine Megathread V15

You clearly have the intelligence of bag of hammers, not going to play your grade school games while I watch Russia die a slow painful death.
Ok "Putler"

Acting as if you are watching a football game or something. Grow the fuck up. I will address you as a tard because you are one. You blind fool. Satan is your daddy.

Russia is crumbling, Just a matter of time and how bad Putler buries the country. Russia has already collapsed twice in the last century for a reason...you are a unique kind of stupid.

You are a pretender. A fraud. A pea brained victim of propaganda. And Satan is your daddy. It's no surprise that you have the opinions that you do.

I don't think Ukraine will ever have an artillery advantage in this war.
If you go by western media with shell counts and production yeah.

If you look at offensives as a gauge to measure how effective shell count is then it's a different story.

Russia seems to need a 5x shell advantage to gain ground at a snails pace.
Ukraine gains ground at a snails pace anytime shell count is reported to be remotely even. Generally at a disadvantage.

You know the 3-1 person advantage for offensives... it's actually 3-1 firepower advantage. Fuck people effective firepower is what matters.

Shell count ≠ effective artillery advantage.

If you're looking for western production numbers to match Russia I don't think it's happening. West doesn't use artillery in these quantities for our wars we use air power.

Investing billions for increased production capacity with minimal effective return for our own forces is the problem.

@SandisLL realpolitik talk it's a bad investment

Any of Ukraine's progress is a snail's pace too.

There billions aren't needed.
For example 130 m EUR for 155 mm shells production line. This already is invested.

While big question is : is more worth to produce more shells like Krasnopol or Excalibur ....where you need something to point with laser target or well working GPS in this area...

Or might be produced simpler shells with extended range ( cos just BB or RAP tech used ) and without precision guidance.
Such shells are considerably cheaper and easier to manufacture quickly.....and range still will be increased. Additionally any attempts to use GPS spoofing in this case will be waste of resources and time...m

Yeah, I said that.

In the second sentence of the two sentences you quoted.

There's no big movement either way and there won't be until the attrition warfare does what it's name says it does.

I think that future for arty will be long rifled barrel high pressure howitzers with RAP or BB rounds....relatively simple and easy to produce quickly.

For example if to talk about arty one ukr unit had used very old but mint condition 85 mm gun and one 100 mm anti aircraft gun plus one 152 mm howitzer from Cold War era.
They had fired 1500 rounds with 85 mm gun and approx 2500 rounds with 100 mm anti aircraft gun used as howitzer and approx 2500 rounds fired from old 152 mm howitzer from 1950 ies.... during 10 days. And they managed frequently relocate guns and repel attack during 10 days.

Also about positions in Harkow oblastj 28 + 30 criminal cases are launched and you....can't insert for example guys with mortar in position not enough prepared, with 0 ammo supplies during 7 days in positions where trenches are built by 30% in best case.

And where is mining? Ukr had damn a lot of mines and also tools for distance mining.
We are tired till half death condition to listen their accusations and excuses and in the same time to pay their salaries and pensions plus to prevent their Central Bank and State Treasury from default.

Depends from block and modification and number of jets they will get + from AWACS support.
While better they had been supplied with something like F-15 , F-18 and even museum exponate F-14.....

As always looks that supplies will be too little and to slow....as usually....

Really big mistake U.S had did when they had initially supplied low number of HIMARS .....and ammo for them.
Some first month russian soldiers had posted a lot of vids and pics in internet and nice strikes might had been done easily.

Also U.S refused to supply any F-16 and opted that helixes in europe will supply them F-16 despite everyone does knows how slow!!!!! is decision making process about such cases in europe.
Uncles like Joe and Sullivan are....like Kissinger had told and he was correct.
Beter is to have U.S as enemy rather than......and he had 0 mistake when had told this reality.

U.S should had supplied tanks earlier and not 31 but 310 main battle tank...regardless is this old M60A3 or OLD version of Abrams.
Also long range missiles....damn a lot earlier....

While about F-16 I don't blame west. While to teach pilots for these is easier than for f.e Mig 29.....
To get experienced technicians in Ukr capable quickly to learn how to service F-16 IMHO is difficult task.

I had to see cockpit ....both Mig 29 not upgraded version from 1988 th and F-16 manufactured in 1987 th.
F-16 - lesser number of buttons and switches etc... lesser = better IMHO.
While I'm not pilot or aviation spec. They just allowed to taste how it is to sit in cockpit...

Not a good 24 hours for The Donald.

First he gets convicted on 34 counts. Then his BFF Putin has to deal with some explosive Freedom from Uncle Sam. ;)
