Ukr knew all along Putler was all in especially after he choked so many of it's own people in the Sudzha gas pipeline a few months ago and Ukr had to work on correcting its mistakes and it looks it didn't do a great job. It's unacceptable to say "but they keep coming" or "our drones were shut suddenly", they should have had a plan b, where are the mines and snipers? Why is there a principle that "our infantry will not engage their infantry"? I understand the value of human life and minimal losses, but only because 90% of total losses on both sides are inflicted from UAS doesn't mean that precisely that 10% is going to be decisive in making the difference. Despite drone tech advancements this remains a classic war and not a video game. If Ukr were slightly more competent in street fights they would have made things much more complicated for the invader (who is btw motivated and brave) in every sector
