International Russia/Ukraine Megathread V15

Ukrainans are russians property or if in best case vassals according to rus.

I even agree that they should not had attempted to establish ties with west.
Best safety solution might had been to cede Donbas for China, some areas for Allah and etc.
However they should had did this before 2010 th
...
Ukraine, unfortunately, was Russias red line for further NATO-expansion.

Ukraine (and NATO) was well aware of that, that's why their previous regimes never openly entertained the idea of joining NATO.

When you're a neighboring country to a super power, you can't just do what you please.
Your best bet is to try to have a neutral/positive relationship with both power structures, without crossing any red lines.

Ireland likely wouldn't be allowed by the UK to host north Korean nukes, just as Cuba wasn't allowed by the USA to host Soviet nukes, just as Russia wasn't thrilled about potentially having NATO-bases and nukes in Ukraine in the future.

Shut the fuck up ya tankie..

Shut the fuck up ya tankie..
I guess years and years of propaganda has trained you to respond with extreme anger when faced with any information that contradicts your black and white view of reality.

It's a funny thing, how strong emotions blunts the brains ability to use reason and logic.

What's a tankie?

  • step 1

Heat the oil in a large, deep saucepan over a medium-high heat and cook the shallots, lemongrass, garlic, galangal, chillies, coriander stalks and curry paste for 1-2 mins, stirring often until the mixture is fragrant. Pour in the coconut milk and stock, and stir well to release any browned bits on the bottom of the pan. Simmer for 10-15 mins.

  • step 2

Mix in the chicken pieces and lime leaves. Bring to a gentle bubble and cook for 10 mins more until the chicken is cooked through, adding the mushrooms for the final 5 mins. Stir in the fish sauce and sugar, then add lime juice to taste. Add a splash more fish sauce or sugar, if needed. Remove the lemongrass and galangal slices, then serve with the coriander leaves sprinkled over.

I think it's important to keep in mind how a conflict actually started, regardless of if it was 3 or 30 years ago.

But I guess it's more comforting and easy to have a worldview that's purely black and white, good guys vs bad guys.

No the point is that even Igor Girkin aka Strelkov admitted these were bullshit talking points. Yevgeny Prigozhin likewise confirmed it was all bs.

It all started over gas disagreements and when Ukraine threatened to kick out Russian navy from their port, Russia decided to stage the little green men war operation in Crimea.

Russia then sent special forces and agents into Donbas to foment chaos, recruit separatists and create this oppression narrative. There was nothing genuine about any of it.

With Russia rigging elections and making assassination attempts on Ukrainian politicians?

Stones + glasshouse.
And hearsay, that neither you nor me can know the truth about.

Covert intelligence operations are in any way preferred to open war with millions of casualties and overall destruction.

Ukraine jumped straight into the lions pit at the zoo and are now surprised they were eaten.

That's also an unfortunate fact about the Ukraine issue, that the military base on Crimea is extremely important strategically, and not something Russia is prepared to lose without a fight.

Also, a lot of natural resources are located in the eastern provinces where people in general are more pro-Russian.

You are talking with chatbot and acually russians often does have brains lesser than sheeps and are more dumb than sheeps in general.

Ukr then money hungry gubbermint had prolonged naval bases rent agreement in Crimea 2010 th. Not easy to kick out and if they are geting rent payments smoothly then....
While when asked for discounts for natual gas supplies Putin and Shoigu, Medvedev and Patrushev had confirmed that Crimea is Ukraine therefore no additional discounts for natural gas supplies ...
BTW there are videos from 2010 th , not fake, easy to google up where Putin in direct and plain text had told that Crimea is Ukraine. 2014 th was Crimea is Russia.

Ofc noobs needs spoon feed and does have attention for 1 minute in best case.

Russians in general unfortunately really often does have brains not more than sheep, their function is determined and their vestern lovers does have not more brains.
Vlasovites +( hitlerites ) brains vs imagined enemies. Sheeps fighting under vlasovites flag.

Medvedev had a lot of interesting posts.
I think it is time to re start thermonuclear weapons tests era.

During last 8 years 2 successful MIRVs tests were 1 for France ( submerged submarine ) and 1 for U.S ( Vanderberg, launch from silo ). Re entry bus had worked properly.
Maybe now is time to get till warheds tests era like in late 1950 ies.

Well there's no need for you to hide where your sympathies lie. What America has done is besides the point, and covert operations were preferred during this dispute, until Russia lost control and had no choice but to invade if they wished to keep their Vassal State.

Iran beoming a Nuclear Power is extremely important strategically and not something the United States is prepared to deal with without a fight.

The people there are allowed to be pro Russian but if they want to literally become Russian they can move to Russia.

The irony, it's over 9000!
Yeah, of course, if you try to say anything else than "Slava Ukraine, Russia bad", you must be an agent of the Kremlin.

The world isn't black and white.

Do you really think it's that simple, that NATO/Ukraine is 100% innocent in this, and Russia is 100% at fault?

That one side lies about everything, and the other side is 100% honest?

Did you know that it's possible to read/watch/listen to news from multiple sources, and then analyze the details that everyone agrees on happened, that can be verified, then make up your own mind, based on the information you can gather?

100% of the time, the issues are more nuanced and complex than the CNN-view of the world would have you believe.

Emotional, black/white, and false narratives are good for gaslighting people into supporting a brainless war for no reason (Iraq, etc).

Russia has very legit national security reasons to annex parts of Eastern Ukraine after their government became hostile and started to talk about joining NATO, just as Kennedy was justified to threaten nuclear war when Soviet wanted to place nuclear weapons on Cuba.

Difference is that Ukraine/NATO chose war instead of diplomacy, and the rest of Europe is picking up a lot of the tab, while Russia and Ukraine both pay the heavy price in terms of human life.

A tragedy all around.
