Yes, let's just ignore and/or name call instead of having a discussion with someone who has a different opinion.

No, quite far from Serbia.

Follow up question; Would USA allow Russia to destabilize Mexico to then form a military alliance with a new (theoretical) pro-Russian regime?

Would USA then be in the wrong for stopping that threat by force, if negotiations failed?
What negotiations? Russia just invaded.

Donetsk, Luhansk, etc, did a Kosovo.
They tried to exercise their right to self-determination, just like Kosovo.

Kosovo was allowed, and NATO came along to help them fight a civil war for independence.

Donetsk and Luhansk was not allowed, and Russia of course came along to help them fight a civil war for independence.

They had a deal 2014 (Minsk agreement) that Ukraine didn't uphold.

They then finally invaded 2022, when they annexed four provinces in Eastern Ukraine.

That's a lot of restraint, given that USA had politicians (even their foreign minister) stoking the fire in Kiev when Ukraines democratically elected president was ousted in a color revolution in 2014, in favor of a new regime who wanted to join NATO.

Interesting part about Ukraine aviation. Kinda anecdotal but we're certainly seeing a lot more footage of airstrikes on ground targets.

Russians surrender to lone Ukrainian soldier (covered by drones) to save their own lives.

Pro-tip: If you're travelling to another country, do NOT link through Russia.

Just to save you guys some time comedy starts at 11 minute mark. Before that just waffle.

Yes, Putin is hiring a lot of foreigners.
Ofc priority are ppl with russian language skills and some military training, better if combat experience under belt.

They does have guys from Cuba, different countries in middle east and Africa etc, also ofc these former socialist countries etc.

Some % of foreigners they are hiring are experienced professionals ... Some % dreamers , some % are just cos money offered....

Sure, to visit Belarus or Russia is very dangerous...like North Korea...

If someone will have any suspicions, you immediately might get under scope of KGB and military counter intelligence.

Also there is risk that if someone wants to do for you big s*** he/ she might do fake reports for KGB about you. Maybe you aren't threat for their country, just someone wants to get you in big trouble.
BTW, KGB not always trust denunciations....
In middle of 1980 ies was assumed that approx 50% denunciations most lakely were fake accusations....

I think it's important to keep in mind how a conflict actually started, regardless of if it was 3 or 30 years ago.

But I guess it's more comforting and easy to have a worldview that's purely black and white, good guys vs bad guys.

Keep your number for paycheck comrade.

One from stuff russia might get might be if knesset will vote to abadon re export clauses in sales contracts.
If Putin will support Iran too much.
They had cryed about armed till teeth by evil enemies with Javelins ukr when they had ~90 launchers.
If Israel will remowe claues Ukr will get > 3500 CLUs quickly etc bonbongas and pelmeni to taste.
Pitin fears to trigger senile Trump and Puton too is senile..and to trigger knesset to void re export clauses . ....

Ukrainans are russians property or if in best case vassals according to rus.

I even agree that they should not had attempted to establish ties with west.
Best safety solution might had been to cede Donbas for China, some areas for Allah and etc.
However they should had did this before 2010 th
