International Russia/Ukraine Megathread V15

Kursk was almost as bad of a shit show as the 2023 summer counter-offensive.

Actually, it's aboot tree fiddy....
Obviously, at the same time you're probably a libtard who criticizes someone who's trying to make the war stopping.
Putin "the peace keeper" needs to do better!

It's still breath taking that these guys still line up and go forward no matter what.....I wonder what the success rate was for that scooter assault.
That's one of the most shocking things about it for me. If I was regular front line infantry and my CO gives me an electric scooter (over grass lol) and tells me to charge an enemy position, knowing there's things like artillery and drones, I'd be telling him to fuck off. It'd be a choice between almost certain death and being court martialed.

If regular people like us on the other side of the planet can see daily footage of guys getting blown up by drones, you'd think the soldiers would know what the reality of this war is like. Yet, these guys still go.

There was a video of a Russian guy checking his helmet and seeing that it was made out of Styrofoam and plastic, not kevlar. Some guys don't even get issued armor plates. There was another video of a Russian POW who says they trained him for 3 days, gave him 3 mags and a grenade and sent him off. If I had any common sense, I'd figure they're literally just sending me to die. Maybe they know already because there are also tons of videos of Russian guys killing themselves.

It speaks to how much of a different mentality they have vs the West/developed world. Just follow orders, don't question it, and die. Maybe they have a different view of life and death than we do. Most of these guys are probably also uneducated and don't get information about the outside world.

Would be nice seeing you the frontline tough guy.

Well five years in the Marines and two tours overseas compared to you blowing russians online.

Nice try though.

Ukranians being forcefully conscripted doesn't sound good at all.

Neither do the 800,000 russian casualties that you pretend don't exist.

Bottom line, you advocate for surrendering to an invader. You don't anger us. We just pity you.

All news and media is controlled by the Kremlin and your own leader murders anyone who disagrees with him so you have to be one dumb mofo to think anyone is telling the truth if you are denied access to other news outside your own country . I watched a Russian news thing and they sound just like Fox News in spots , that’s not even a joke the way and style they were doing ,

I can see why Fox News is the most watched bc we have an unbelievable amount of stupid gullible ppl right here as well but at least we can Watch National media so that probably makes us more stupid that there’s actually ppl who side with Russia .

I saw clips of the Russian state TV segment about how they should nuke America. That's even worse than Fox news. At least fox news doesn't openly condone nuking and killing tons of people.

I also saw that video of Russians in Moscow being asked about the war and if Russia should invade anyone else and they're logic is like "They don't like us so we should invade them!" And I thought Americans were stupid.

There's only one real target left in the Ukraine for Oreshnik and that's the main military bunker in Kiev, the Russians aren't gonna touch it since the current Ukrainian command staff are nice & predictable and getting rid of them might actually bring someone competent into power.
I was referring to one or multiple Ukrainian strikes against Moscow (Neptune missile). The civilian population. Where roughly 3 dozen civilian Russians are killed and 100+ wounded. The air defense system in and around Moscow seem pretty decent. The Neptune is a subsonic missile, unlike the Oreshnik, and could be shot down. If Zelensky and his military are crazy enough to pull a stunt like this, Russia will retaliate against the Ukrainian civilian population in ways we have not seen before. Both the US and Europe were against these stupid drone strikes by Ukraine into Moscow. A small number of Russian civilians were killed. Not sure what Zelensky thinks he is accomplishing here. He is only making a bad situation worse and will soon put the civilian population of Ukraine into danger.
The main targets for Oreshnik are the Aegis Ashore installations in Poland and Romania along with other key strategic targets in Europe. Russia probably ain't going to fire another one off unless the EU gets really stupid with their interventions.
From what I understand there is a small, limited number of Russian Oreshnik missiles available. Production has increased, like everything else in the Russian military arsenal. Flying at Mach 10+, this missile would be impossible to be shot down. The missile has six warheads, each carrying six submunitions.

I have followed ukrainian and especially russian social media intensively the last three years and trust me russians in general are way more agressive warmongers than Putin might be and ukrainians want to kill russians much more than Zelensky does. Both sides really only want a temporary ceasefire to replenish and come back to kill more.
Two sides of the same coin. Given the opportunity, Ukrainians and Russians are capable of horrible things being done to the civilian population of the enemy as displayed in Germany during WWII. Women and children in particular. That is why most Germans wanted to surrender to the Americans.

Trump has already failed on his promise to get the Israeli hostages back home and is currently failing to bring peace to Ukraine.
Europe, as usual, is doing nothing or very little. Each country is only concerned about its own survival. Italy has already said it will not get its soldiers involved.

Ah, yeah, no helmet or armor plate for Americans in Vietnam serving with MACV-SOG.

Ah, yeah, that is what you do as a soldier in the Army or a Marine in the Corps. Unlawful orders would fall under a different topic. Now, the Air Force and the Navy boys and girls do like to ask a lot of stupid questions. Specially the females. Women!

What a strange way to look at it.

1. Ukraine showed that they could attack, capture and keep Russian territory and no Russia is not going to 'nuke' them.

Remember how Russia was threatening to use nukes for every little thing? Ukrainians literally captured Russian land and Putin didn't do shit about it.

2. It forced Russia to send forces from Donbas or elsewhere to Kursk. It also reduced pressure on Sumy region for the Ukrainians.

3. It was useful territory for future negotiations. Until Trump literally sabotaged Ukrainians(blocking aid and intel sharing), Russia struggled to recapture it.

Obdishnik is to threat guys like you.
BREXIT guys you already have Oreshnik on your heads: more immigrants and refugees: this is your Oreshnik real one.

Ofc obviously for you better solution looks to sell Ukraine to Russia even by 100% and then you will have lower prices and better life.

This is nothing wrong: everyone is thinking only about his own supposed comfort they might have.

Business and nothing personal. As usually.

Voters does have short term memory.
They had been promised that after BREXIT rent and mortgage prices will decrease : in reality they had increased.
Immigrants and refugees even more.
Loans more difficult to get and interest rates didn't had decreased.
Number of easily awailable jobs didn't had increased, pretty opposite.
Groceries prices increased. Utilities bills, you see real bills, don't you?

Ofc they 100 years had funded mass media promoting hate and the same yanks as enemies. For a reason they for example cultivated paranoia till level that yanks will invade them with ground forces...therefore produced huge mountains with mines etc.

They also had heavily funded bomb shelters building in industrial and administrative sites with legend that yanks might bomb them... 1945-1991 th.

Yanks economy will collapse : this is taught 3 generations in row...

One thing are propagandists for a living but if you knew stuff some from their lawmakers are telling in their parliament ( Duma) sessions...then Putin and Zelensky might look like Santa claus if compare with this.

Just one example: Ivanov offered to mobilize unemployed ppl and immediately sent them to donbas to liberate land.
Morozov crying why there isn't total mobo and why Moldova still does exist and isn't turned into dust.
Etc not only these guys.

Personally, I have an unpopular opinion about this conflict, I say, let them bang!

Like it or not, this conflict has created two monsters, both AFU and RFAF have around 1 million experienced soldiers and plenty of fucking weapons. Even if the war stops, that amount of power will be directed somewhere else (impossible to de-militarize) and that 'somewhere else' is completely unpredictable. (and could be mine or some other sherdogger's neighborhood). As far as morals, i don't think I'm on the wrong side for being a 'warmonger' in this particular case. I have followed ukrainian and especially russian social media intensively the last three years and trust me russians in general are way more agressive warmongers than Putin might be and ukrainians want to kill russians much more than Zelensky does. Both sides really only want a temporary ceasefire to replenish and come back to kill more. And Trump wants it only because of his ego as he promised to not spend more money, he really doesn't give a fuck about who is dying either.

I say give ukrainians the level of support given so far (since in a way we owe it to them after all the encouraging done for decades by the west) and let them:

:meow:
Both sides wants just short term ceasefire.
For Russia this too now might be good solution: they might build fortifications in occupied areas, to accumulate huge stockpiles with weapons and ammo near frontline, distribute these stockpiles not like 1 large or now 10 smaller depots but instead to distribute stockpiles in xxxx small mini size depots, well camouflaged.

Troops will rest, part of them will be used to build fortifications...bunkers, tunnels etc.

Doesn't makes sense what stuff they will sign. Propaganda that ukr should be under Russia had been done xx years with very good financing. They are promised that Kherson, Zaporozia, Donetsk, Luhansk oblastjs and Crimea will be in Russian Federation.

A lot of them badly wants that Ukr and international community will recognize this de Iure....

Even just this is only first part of long term game.

They does wants to subjugate Moldova and Ukraine completely, sooner or later.

Obviously Ukraine doesn't have any real long term plans nor for military nor economy etc. Ofc a lot of endless talks and still even real wartime economy isn't implemented in real life. It is laughable even if compare WW1 and WW2 times in xx other countries. Till ridiculous level In Ukraine....

Russia Obviously does have very long term plans what to do with Ukraine.

West: doesn't looks that they even want to have long term plans real one...
They ofc doesn't wants to have xx millions refugees and immigrants more than they does have today.

Therefore when barking from Russia is too loud and they feel that ukr might go 404 completely, then they are supplying something and feel comfortable till next barking sessions.... relax mode.

These units...it depends from unit.
In some cases they even doesn't have 1 hand grenade for 10 guys....

In some cases they are equipped decently : assault rifles with under barrel grenade launchers, a lot of ammo and grenades....
Thermals etc...sniper rifles with very expensive western optics etc.

Russia had developed new weaponry for radioelectronic warfare against drones.

Equipment is large backpack with radioelectronic warfare equipment and a lot of antenas. This does have power supply from another backpack with accumulators and cables to connect cables with backpack N2 .
One from backpack on chest, another on back.

These jamming stations with such solution are man portable stations.
Most likely multi frequency short range radioelectronic warfare station type stuff.

"The landing in Iwo Jima was a huge failure! So many people died and we didn't even get to keep the beach!"

Russia invades Ukraine. Ukrainian soldiers fight and die to defend their country. Putin cucks/ Russian bots /Trumpists = "Ukraine is so bad because they're letting people die!"

These putin cucks are so weird.

One of the things I've noticed in this war is how common suppressors have become. Suppressors used to be like a Spec Ops, covert mission or SWAT team type thing but now regular front infantry guys use it.
