The report function does not work for shit. I liked you better when you weren't a mod.

You are clearly stupid. This post just proved it.
You are actually saying that the Ukrainian leadership did not want to be part of NATO in 2022? 🤣
Yeah, village idiot clearly exposes himself.

That's correct. Anyone claiming that it was Ukrainian "insistence" to join NATO, which prompted and excused a russian invasion and the intentional targeting of civilians, is too stupid to be a US Army officer.

Just like there is no way an actual infantry officer, of any experience, let alone 20-years, would ever advocate for a mass drop of airborne troops behind russian lines. That shows such a complete lack of military understanding, that it would be simply impossible for someone to have that had actually served.

Like seriously mate, I don't think you understand just how absurd that position was. You gave it away that day. We were generous for not outing you earlier.

They wanted but technically it was impossible and Putin knew this.

they didn't met criteria basis
they were not provided MAP road flowchart usually given years before country is invited.
they in 1999 th were stratrgic weapons seller for Russia. I don't mean these nukes...
Just some strategic bombers and 575 long range cruise missiles...etc stuff

Ukraine also had active border dispute
Ukraine didn't controlled all their territory...

Besides this some 2 large NATO countries and some couple of smaller countries didn't supported such chance to invite ukr in NATO.

However freedom of speech and dreams are allowed so Zelensky administration was allowed to dream in public speeches.

BTW to get in EU for country without physical de facto control in all area they control on paper ( de iure ) also is almost impossible...
And to get in EU ALL member countries should accept country...ALL countries.
So again life is life and Zelensky ofc again was allowed to dream.
BTW I do know european Realpolitik better than Zelensky or abdirstantowich ....
I do not comment about Latin Americas cos I don't know to tell.
I comment stuff I do know.

If to be fair, if Putin didn't had invaded, mostl likely Ukraine today didn't had get even carrot like EU candidate status.
What stuff is candidate status?
Nothing special. Albania is EU candidate 9 years...what happened after this?
Real life is real life.

He knows all this. He's not talking in good faith.

As far like 2010-2022 for a lot of EU politicians ( ofc depends from who is elected in national elections ) Ukraine was large country with low salaries and high unemployment % : so immigration from Ukr was excepted huge if ukr had get accepted.
Next reality: ukr then had to get damn a lot of subsidies for agriculture and cheap loans & grants for infrastructure.
Not all voters in EU countries ( taxpayers ) might be happy with this....not at all.
Next stuff: due to new requrements Ukr had to implement as EU member ....Ukr production price ...should rise...business using cheap import definitely might not be happy with this.

Only one bonus for foreign business investors in Ukr then might be that Ukr had to implement decent investors rights protection according to EU laws.

In Russian related news, Pres. Bashir Al-Assad has fled Syria. His government has fallen and Russia is pulling out. Assad has requested aid from Iran, Iraq, and Jordan, but his pleas have fallen on deaf ears.

Edit it for you:
"Anyone not believing that it was Ukrainian "insistence" to join NATO, which prompted a russian invasion and the intentional targeting of civilians, is too stupid to claim to be a Marine NCO."

Everyone in this thread, and the rest of the world, knows that Ukraine was pushing for NATO membership in 2022. You are the only exception. You are not only stupid and disinformed, but you are also a fake Marine. Oh, yeah, and the current village idiot.

Mate, you don't know shit about my military experience. Folks here are tired of you bringing this up and getting off topic.
Not a 'mass' drop dumbass it is called a HALO Airborne operation with a small number of troops.
You want stories about my military career just PM me. I don't think you are going to believe anything I have to say.
. I was enlisted like you and later selected for OCS.
. I was Infantry (11B) and later Civil affairs (38A).
. Yes, 4 deployments between 2002 and 2008. There are folks that did twice that number on active duty.
. You only did 2, so that means you were in for a short time or in the reserves.
. Still waiting for a copy of your DD-214.
. Actually, I don't think you were in at all. This whole issue seems to be a thorn on your side. ...and I never did see you post on the 'Military roll call - Veterans.'

* Looks like your boy Zelensky is going down:

Volodymyr Zelenskyy responds to Donald Trump's call for immediate ceasefire

After it was attacked by Russia in 2014, Ukraine increasingly sought NATO membership. Ukraine joined NATO's Partnership for Peace in 1994 and the NATO-Ukraine Commission in 1997, then agreed to the NATO-Ukraine Action Plan in 2002 and entered into NATO's Intensified Dialogue program in 2005.

For the 1 millionth time, if Ukraine had ever actually gotten into NATO -which they couldn’t- then Russia could not have invaded them and there would be no war, you giant idiot

Mate, you don't know shit about my military experience.

I'm confident you're lying about being an officer due to your lack of basic knowledge in modern warfare. Would you like another example? Here we go:

Not a 'mass' drop dumbass it is called a HALO Airborne operation with a small number of troops.

This is incredibly stupid and I refuse to believe an infantry officer would advocate for such a thing. Dropping any number of troops, from any altitude, behind a 350+ mile russian front with instructions to live off the land, shows a complete lack of understanding of the battlefield conditions in Ukraine.

Folks here are tired of you bringing this up and getting off topic.

I'm more than happy to adjudicate your lack of experience in the veterans thread.

However, we're still gonna address every stupid claim you make here. Like when you told us 2 1/2 years ago that Ukraine was about to fold. Stuff like that isn't going to get ignored, no matter how much you beg for your propaganda to go unchallenged.

Well, there first question is to manage to drop troops even 10 miles behind frontline, not alone 100 miles behind frontline.

Acoustic sensors, radars networks, a lot of manpads and anti aircraft systems from stuff like Strela 10 and Tunguska, TOR, Pantsirj and even ZU 2-23 and ZU 4-23 on " Technicals " ....till BUK and S-300....
