None of prediction became reality? I guess all those defeats (Bakhumt, 2023 Summer Offensive, Avdiivka) in the past two years suffered by Ukraine were simply imaginary then. You can also pretend Russian advances are fake and Ukraine will magically get all its land back.

So if you are neutral, you are getting low number of real subs etc and not a lot of money. I think that Iranian missiles might be used in order to test them in real war.
Otherwise, if Russia needs 120 km range missiles they might get for free from Mr Lukashenko. Mr Lukashenko does think that Thocka U missiles are too old tech and wants to replace these with chinesse clone Polonez and modernized variants of Smertch MRLS and he badly wants to get more Iskander launchers and missiles.
For 120 km range Lukashenko does have Thocka U : 36 launchers in normal condition and stockpiles of missiles for these... If he does keep USSR style logic he should have at least 350-400 Thocka U missiles and I suspect that Belarus sadly most likely had kept these in good storage conditions and had did scheduled refurbishing after shelf storage time limits had ended....so most likely refubrished stuff.

Also there Putin will not need to pay any money: IMHO with some 1-2 Iskander launchers and some 10-20 missiles for these + a bit more discounts for crude oil and natural gas supplies and Lukashenko will be happy....and deliver Thocka U launchers and missiles quickly.

I mean, I understand why a country today would send middle age men to war over younger guys, at least until it's necessary.

Ukraine in particular has demographic issues, but so does everyone. Sending middle aged men to war that already have kids just makes more sense in that context. The state can take care of their children if they die in combat, but there won't be a state if there aren't more generations coming.
