There's nothing sensible about continuing to fight. Negotiations should be on the table. Too bad Russia is the only one that is open to peace talks.

This is all about boosting Russia an China. If Taiwan an Europe unable to expand their purchases. This will no doubt give some advantages to Russia in Europe an China in Taiwan.

This would also cause widespread job cuts in defense industries an suppliers. Now tell me again how Trump going to create jobs?

Side note as Saudi Arabia spent 2 billion in Musk takeover of Twitter, now Steve Mnuchin Trump's former treasure secretary who just received 1 billion from Saudi Arabia wants to lead a group to buy tiktok.

This could lead to far greater pro Putin storied on tiktok so th debate about who should run it could be complicated? They could be used to push pro Trump an pro China stories.

This might take an election cycle in Europe to happen. SDP/Greens lead government will be history in two years in Germany. I'm hoping that will move things along.

CDU isn’t a great option aswell and the Green Party is surprisingly realistic about Russia’s intentions but yea, Scholz was the first chancellor I ever got angry about based upon his stance in this conflict.

Germanies political landscape is a mess right now and that is a bit due to russias influence over the last two decades imo and to a bigger part ruling parties not being able to communicate problems and steps in an honest and meaningful, solution orientated and understandable way to the general public. I like the SPD General secretary, he’s a smart guy but fuck that eternal ego fighting and discussion culture here.

Seriously I’m thinking about living on Malta and leaving that shit behind.

Greens insisting on closing down the nuclear plants in the face of one of the biggest European energy upheavals didn’t seem too realistic or solidary towards the western interests, but I’m sure you know the overall situation better. At least in Germany there seems to be hope if Scholz goes where as other big countries like France, Italy and Spain have done only a fraction in regards of concrete aid compared to Germany while giving enthusiastic support on paper. I have no idea though on who’s actually stopping confiscation of the Russian assets, but Scholz is my prime suspect heh.
