A big fear Poland has had for the last 30 years is Russia invading them. They built up a military that other NATO members have neglected, and it shows today and it blows my mind as someone who has been alive to witness it. In the year 2000 they weee not a player. Today they are actually our most powerful ally. Wow

That isn’t just their military either. Their economy is booming. The Polish should be proud of what they have achieved in a single generation. I know I am impresses by their achievements
US also gave Poland a $2 billion loan to help modernize their military further. Russia doesn’t want that smoke.

Putin will order to annex Ukraine at any cost.

Russia is lithium importer and Ukraine does have lithium ore.

Eastern Ukraine does have a lot of natural resources.
It is assumed that Russia already had captured more than 50% ukr coal mines, land areas with huge iron ore deposits, ~ 50% from Ukr manganese mines, All Ukr strontium mining areas.....
They also does control approx 25% of ukr iron ore deposits.......
largest ukr salt mines....

Putin definitely will sooner or later attempt to occupy areas where lithium might be mined.....

This will increase Russia's importance as mining industry production exporter AND weaken Ukraine cos ukr will not get income from these mining areas......

Most likely Russia had relocated by using sea transport from Kaliningrad oblastj approx 1 S-400 battery and approx at least 15 TOR launchers and by using land supplies air defense units from St Pete ( Leningrad ) and Murmansk oblastj some additional batteries to Crimea and Donetsk/ Luhansk oblastjs and territories who does have land border with Russia in Ukraine.

It's also in their blood. They've got exactly the same patriotism as Russia does in regard to their shared history of expelling invaders like Napoleon and the Nazis.

That patriotism is in full effect in Ukraine because they're actually being invaded.... again.

Russia on the other hand, keeps making really cringy attempts to evoke the spirit of ww2, but I don't think most of his population is buying it because they're not stupid and know that they're the ones doing the invading this time.

That plot armor only works when getting hitting hit from west not east. It's in the fine print.

Those attempts are only cringey to you because you're a right winger and the sacrifice of the Soviet Union means nothing to you.

If you are relying on weak partners, you will lost war. Autorship : Pope Innocent III.

The supposed ''sacrifice " done by worshiped Soviet Union with fans like you means for me nothing because you don't know bare shit about Lend lease and worshiped by you from comfortable cubicle Soviet Union.
Because yo don't care about ppl killed cos old g*** georgian orders and are cocky.
Like you never had cared about teenagers vomiting blood after shift where they worked to produce stuff to supply to your idiotic USSR.
Just cos these " enemies " had helped your shithole to survive and you love your shithole from distance cos you are living in bad dying western world.

Here is one article about some part of counter offensive.
\\

While I partially agree with this....looks that to call OLD equipment as new is ridiculous.
Here ofc didn't had mattered f.e Leopard 2A4 or Armata or even T-34.......

While L2A4 without upgrades was candidate for museum even in early 2000 ies, also supplied Bradleys were very OLD.....
Ofc this didn't had changed situation even if new Armatas had been used.

Bradley is good for crew protection, better than any BTR .....
Reason why I had mentioned about reality is that Bradley manufactured 25-30+ years ago doesn't cost like new fresh stuff and these anyway had been scheduled to be replaced by new models.....U.S will not force their troops to use very old stuff........
While taxpayers are thinking that it was new freshly purchased stuff sent to UKR and they had wasted money etc bullshit.

L2A4 latest<Lmaoo> production was 1992/1993 th and any country might attempt to sell this stuff in order to evalue real market value not dreams.

Seems like the split between Zelensky and Zaluzhny is growing.

Sources close to Ukrainska Pravda claim that Supreme Commander-in-Chief Volodymyr Zelenskyy communicates with some commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, avoiding Commander-in-Chief Valerii Zaluzhnyi and preventing him from holding overall command of the army.

Quote from a source from Zaluzhnyi's inner circle: "You see, sometimes there is an impression that Zelenskyy has two types of the Armed Forces: the ‘good ones’, commanded by Syrskyi and other favourites, and ‘bad ones’, which are subordinate to Zaluzhnyi. It is very demotivating for the Commander-in-Chief and, most crucially, it prevents him from commanding the entire army."

Details: It is claimed that Zelenskyy in fact established parallel channels for communication, avoiding Zaluzhnyi, with the commanders of different branches of the army.

For instance, with Air Force Commander Mykola Oleshchuk and Ground Force Commander Oleksandr Syrskyi.

Direct communication with commanders accelerates the president's work, but it also ousts the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, who gets some information from his formal subordinates, if any at all.

There is reality: Zelensky had kicked out Reznikov not cos he attemptd to fight vs corrupion.
Reznikov had balls to remind actor Huelensky what he had told: I need at least 300 main battle tanks ASAP in order to hold russians back and not to allow annex more territories...

Reznikov most likely had been kicked out from his post cos scandal about uniforms and food delivery contracts while he mainly looks thaat did task to beg for weapons and ammo.
Where are well paid Ukr MOD bireucrats like departments directors and principals? Looks that they are in place and didn't had been relocated from offices to Avdiivka to serve Ukraine in proper way.

The stuff is that in Ukraine chief of armed forces is Zelensky and in Russia Putin, they might assign next general or MOD.

Mice are everywhere in Ukraine.

US is running out of money for Ukraine and that could hinder fight against Russia, White House warns

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Biden administration on Monday sent Congress an urgent warning about the need to approve tens of billions of dollars in military and economic assistance to Ukraine, saying Kyiv’s war effort to defend itself from Russia’s invasion may grind to a halt without it.
In a letter to House and Senate leaders and released publicly, Office of Management and Budget Director Shalanda Young warned the U.S. will run out of funding to send weapons and assistance to Ukraine by the end of the year, saying that would “kneecap” Ukraine on the battlefield.
She added that the U.S. already has run out of money that it has used to prop up Ukraine’s economy, and “if Ukraine’s economy collapses, they will not be able to keep fighting, full stop.”
“We are out of money — and nearly out of time,” she wrote.

President Joe Biden has sought a nearly $106 billion aid package for Ukraine, Israel and other needs, but it has faced a difficult reception on Capitol Hill, where there is growing skepticism about the magnitude of assistance for Ukraine and where even Republicans supportive of the funding are insisting on U.S.-Mexico border policy changes to halt the flow of migrants as a condition for the assistance.

“Congress has to decide whether to continue to support the fight for freedom in Ukraine as part of the 50-nation coalition that President Biden has built, or whether Congress will ignore the lessons we’ve learned from history and let (Russian President Vladimir) Putin prevail,” National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said Monday. “It is that simple. It is that stark choice, and we hope that Congress on a bipartisan basis will make the right choice.”

Meanwhile, the GOP-controlled House has passed a standalone assistance package for Israel, which is fighting a war with Hamas in Gaza, while the White House has maintained that all of the priorities must be met.

Congress already has allocated $111 billion to assist Ukraine, including $67 billion in military procurement funding, $27 billion for economic and civil assistance and $10 billion for humanitarian aid. Young wrote that all of it, other than about 3% of the military funding, had been depleted by mid-November.

The Biden administration has said it has slowed the pace of some military assistance to Kyiv in recent weeks to try to stretch supplies until Congress approves more funding.

“We are out of money to support Ukraine in this fight,” Young wrote. “This isn’t a next year problem. The time to help a democratic Ukraine fight against Russian aggression is right now. It is time for Congress to act.”

House Speaker Mike Johnson reiterated in a statement Monday that House Republicans will insist on border policy changes as part of a Ukraine assistance bill, and he argued Biden has “failed to substantively address any of my conference’s legitimate concerns about the lack of a clear strategy in Ukraine, a path to resolving the conflict, or a plan for adequately ensuring accountability for aid provided by American taxpayers.”

The letter followed a classified Capitol Hill briefing on Nov. 29 for the top House and Senate leaders on the need for the assistance. Defense and other national security officials briefed the “big four” congressional leaders as Congress is debating Biden’s nearly $106 billion funding package, which includes $61 billion for Ukraine but has become snared by Republican demands for U.S.-Mexico border security changes.

“They were clear that Ukraine needs the aid soon — and so does our military need the aid soon,” Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer told The Associated Press in an interview.
